You should do what you think is better for you, crossdressing is the part of your life you don't need to tell your employer simply because it's none of their business, just go to work, do your work and go home and change, after all that's what makes you happy..☺

Do you plan on dressing 24/7 as a woman? If so..you're more than a crossdresser, you may be a transvestite or even transgendered. If you are transgendered and want to live 24/7 as a woman, then actually you would be required to do this for at least a year before undergoing any further steps in the transition process. They call this the "real life test".

If you're just doing it for sexual gratification, why do you feel the need to go to work that way? Unless you have medical or psychological paperwork to back you up, you risk getting fired, and sometimes even WITH the paperwork they will still fire you anyway. Ask any transsexual who has tried to look for employment with a gender role that is different from the marker on their driver's license. It's HARD, trust me. If it's not something you really NEED to do or feel is part of who you ARE, I'd leave the high heels at home..unless you don't care about losing your job.

Tell ya what, I don't own a dress, and never will! You have to be yourself and do what is comfortable for you. Society is much less judgmental of a female who dresses like a male than the other way around. If you think you need to tell them, for whatever reason, go ahead. 4 of my employees were cross dressers. I am probably one of the most open minded people you could ever know. I only had one request for one of the MEN! Please leave the skirt at home when clients are coming! Clients may or may not be as open minded! On the other hand, I knew it when I hired them.

You are walking on eggshells. It may be advisable to have a heart to heart talk with your boss before you are let go for doing so w/o asking first. Do not go in dressed until the boss says it is okay to do so. You do not want to lose the job!

The health inspectors may want more than just a dress between you and the pizzas. But on the other job it will make it easier for you to hold your licker.

An interesting question. Do you cross dress because you feel it is safer to promote yourself as a male? Did they hire you as a male?

Truth is always the best.

first of all Lilly! a cross dresser could be anybody from a drag queen/king to a transvestite to a transsexual, not necessarily for sexual gratification. back to the question in hand, if you feel like telling em do so, but tread carefully, think about it seriously first, good luck.

no. unfortunately crossdressing is not yet accepted in our society as a whole. If they hired you as a man, stick with it at work. On your personal time, do whatever you want!

If you feel really comfortable, both with your co-workers and in your job security, you could TELL them, but don't just show up as a woman one day.
