people love to gossip. people love to put others down to make themselves feel better because they're jealous of that person. you've only been together a week. many couples don't feel comfortable (straight, gay, or otherwise) kissing in such a short period of time. i'm like that and i'm straight.
as for your ex... do you think he still has feelings for you? if so, that would explain him slamming your new guy and you should just laugh at his jealousy because he can't have what your guy has.
also, anymore it isn't such a taboo thing for people, male or female, to be bi, although it's more acceptable for a female. if you like this guy, ignore what others say, they're going to talk anyhow, and their opinions don't really matter in the long run: yours does. be true to yourself, not other people. you'll be much happier with yourself.
and as far as aids goes, there is scientific proof that it isn't passed in saliva, but in four body fluids: blood, semen, vaginal fluid, and breast milk. so don't worry about kissing.

Sherry, I suggest you READ more about AIDS-HIV. If you were able to type in your message here, there is no reason for you not being able to research about AID-HIV.
Anyway, if it bothers you that your boyfriend is bisexual then I suggest you talk to him sincerely. First, try to understand his bisexuality and his life before you meet. Tell him that you are new to this and you need to understand more. After that, you then ask him about some of your concerns (AIDS, men, ex-bf, sex, etc..). From there you then decide whether to continue or stop dating him. In fact I salute your boyfriend for telling you that he is bisexual. Most of bisexuals in the Philippines do not admit to their straight partners for fear of being ostricized.

Since 78% of all male sexual relationships with other males involves oral copulation rather than anal, (contrary to popular belief) they are most likely asking this very personal and none-of-their-business question due to ejaculation. Ignore them, what matters is whether or not you and your BF are happy with this relationship.

Aides is common amongst gay men. It is easily transferred to a non gay partner through saliva and intercourse. It could be your friends are concerned.

If all people are asking you is if you kissed him, they need to find another hobby. Please explain to them that what you do with your bf is your business. If it doesn't effect their bedroom, wallet or paycheck, it is not their business. Then, look for different friends.
Blessings!
