Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender - November 2006

Don't we realize that the civilized countries across the globe are legalizing gay marriage and realizing that it is gentic, not a choice? Can't we see that by making an constitutional ban on gay marriage, we are joining the likes of Iraq and other evil countries, taking steps backward? How many years will it be before we realize that marriage is a civil right? How many times will we have to add amendments simply saying "So we need to stop discriminating against this group because they deserve civil rights," and how much longer before "And when we said we can't discriminate against them, we should probably have included that they can get married"? Why will the government prosicute businesses that refuse to hire or choose to fire a person based on their sexuality, but the government can say that gay people don't get the same protection under the law that other people do? I have this friend that I've known for about four years and I'm starting to think that he's gay. We always go out to lunch together during school and we spend alot of time together, but sometimes he acts a little gay. I've never seen him check out any girls before but I've never seen him check out any guys before either. He did tell me that he slept in the same bed with one of my other friends, but that's all he told me and he's never had a girl friend before. We're best friends and I don't want to ruin out relationship by asking if he's gay. Are there any signs I can look for to tell if he's gay? Please help.

I'd love to give a lesbian experience a try, but I don't know how to go about it. I don't want a public relationship or even to tell my friends because it is something really personal to me. But I would really like to get to know somebody. The only place I can think of would be in a nightclub orientated that way - but I'm petrified of going on my own. What should I do??

This girl that I think is gay, and that I think likes me, and I like her too. So this morning, she was in my view, and she knew that I was looking in her direction, and she fixed her hair and primped ever so slightly in the window in front of her, and then turned and looked right at me. She's definitely a butch. Does she like me, is this a sign?

Another thing is that she can talk to everyone else around us on our spares, but she can't talk to me. Why?

I'm in my second year of undergrad right now and I've come to the point where I recognize I'm gay (I have also never been in an relationship, heterosexual or same-sex).

My severely homophobic parents currently cover most of my tuition and r&b. Because of my parents’ finances, I don't qualify for much financial aid (around 10% max of cost, often in loans). I have a few small jobs right now, not enough to live off of or pay for any decent school.

Should I just keep my mouth shut for 2.5 more years and then tell them when I get into a law school (I’d get financial aid at that point)? One or two of my really close friends at college already know and they’re being supportive (my college is also extremely gay-friendly) of sexuality although they tell me I should probably just keep my parents in the dark for now.

Also, is there anything I can do to make myself feel more comfortable with my sexual preferences w/o being so public to the point where my parents might hear of it? Tnxs.

Here's the deal. I'm happily married but i'm also bi which my husband know's this and is comfortable with my sexuality. I have a friend (lives in another state) that I want to sleep with but she's never been with a woman before, although her and I kissed one night in the bathroom at a bar we went to. She's had other bi women "hit" on her and she tells them that she's wanting her first "experience" to be with me. I'm going to be in the area she lives in next month. She's also planning on flying to visit me for New Year's. So my question is how do I make this happen since i'll be the more experienced one here??

I'm straight, but there have been occasions where gay men have shown an interest in me. I'm not into that, but I don't want to be homophobic or mean. So, how do I turn these guys down without being a jerk about it? Also, is it possible I'm accidentally sending out some kind of "signal" that they're misreading?

From what I've seen and heard, Italian-heritage (as in men from Italy or who are part/whole Italian heritage) men tend to have big booties, almost as big or AS big as black men's. Being a liker of big butts on guys, I just got curious.
