It's probably just her, honestly.
But when she starts blaming it on the pot.
then you have a problem.

Short term memory loss is one of the most common side-effects so I wouldn't be surprised. It could be just her though, if she's lost things all her life even before she started smoking pot then I'd look at it as just her. However is this has only started happening recently then it probably is the result of the pot.

Um, yeah, it's the pot. My brother's the same way. Very motivated, "can do" kind of guy, but can't remember where he put his car keys half the time.
At least she's got you to get her back.
Some folks just function better on pot. I say this because I'm a true believer from seeing my brother.
Others not so well, but that's true with any drug, prescription or illegal.

I lose **** all the time but I don't smoke weed. Some of us have a 100 things in/on our mind at any given time and get scatter-brained as it were. Today I left over $150 worth of stuff in Wal-Mart that I bought. The cashier caught up with me and kindly handed the stuff to me. With me I am always making a movie scene or comedy skit in my mind and when I am focused on it NOTHING (not even sex) gets in my way until I get it down on paper. So no, it probably isn't the weed at all, although it can make you goofy to the point where you could. It's all good, better weed than alcohol.

I knew a girl once who smoked pot and then lost her virginity, yet I do not blame the pot, I blame the two bottles of wine. It is nice that your girlfriend is absentminded, that could easily be a sign of high intelligence. Why is your question about pot a gay/lesbian question because I am missing the connection ?

Your just concerned because it's a known fact that smoking pot destroys brain cells but not enough that it should effect her noticeably. It does effect motor functions but just in case she gets sloppy in bed you know why. And over a long period of time smoking pot can have noticeable mental effects.

Marijuana does cause some issues with short-term memory loss but some people are also absent minded. It's really hard to make a call on that scenario simply because "we" don't know her and how she was before she began smoking.

The people i know who smoke pot constantly lose things including their pot. One of the main things they lose is their tempers. They are frequently blowing a lot of things out of proportion and their perceptions about everything is that they are always right

Smoking pot is very bad for your brain function. It also will make it hard for men to have an erection. It lowers your testosterone levels and causes fatigue and a general down grade of your emotional responses. You will not feel pleasure as intensly after smoking it. Pain medication will not be as effective after you smoke Pot.
Not something any healthy person woudl do.

The THC in pot smoke coats brain cells, making them up to 400 times thicker than they should be. This keeps neurons from receiving signals effectively. Starts with short term memory and then down hill from there. By the time amotivational syndrome sets in, she will be a REAL Veggie Tale.
