He is a former progay theologian, actvist, and pastor. Do ya'll think he knows his stuff?

He covers these things.

Social Justice Argument #3: "10% of the Population Is Gay. Could So Many People Be Wrong?"

Religious Argument #1: "Jesus Said Nothing About Homosexuality."

get my youngest brother to be less homophobic?

When I was 16, William was 14, and Jesse was 4 are parents got separated, William and I went with our father, and Jesse went with our mother, and was around her extremely homophobic family very often.

Our mother recently died and her family wanted nothing to do with Jesse, so I got stuck with him. He is only 16 now, but he is the most homophobic person I have ever seen. I am afraid of inviting some of my friends over because they are gay, and I do not want him to treat them bad.

Especially since he told me he hates gays more than he has ever hated himself, which is hard to imagine. From what I heard he used to self-harm (he stopped almost a year ago), and had tried to kill himself three times in past (last time was almost two years ago), so I can only imagine how much he hates gays...

I don't personally know anybody my parent's age that is gay(at least not openly) but I know a bunch my age that are. Is it because gays are more accepted now and people are more willingly coming out of the closet or are more and more people gay now adays?

I know gay men who have had sex with women, some who even have kids. I'm confused. To me the term gay means you are only attracted to men. If you were able to get an erection over a woman wouldn't that make you bisexual? Obviously some part of these guys I know who call themselves 'gay' were attracted to females or they would not have been able to have sex with one. I don't think most straight guys would be able to achieve an erection in order to have sex with another man, or am I wrong?

What I don't understand is how can a man call himself gay or straight but still have had sex a man or a woman? For instance I have heard gay guys say that they messed around w/ straight men. Obviously those men were not straight bc if they were, they would not have fooled around w/ another man. Also a majority of gay guys I know have had sex with women sometime in their life. I don't understand why they consider themselves gay bc if they were they would not have been able to attain an erection with a woman. This make them bisexual in my opinion. Can anyone explain this further??? Why is everything in black and white?

I'm 25 years old. I've been dressing like a girl secretly since I was a teenager. It is driving me crazy trying to keep this secret and I would love to tell people so I don't feel like I'm pretending to be somebody that I'm not. I think that I'm just afraid to tell people because I don't want them to treat me differently. I've seen how cruel and mean people are to transsexuals and I don't want to be treated that way by the people that I love. Plus I know that my mother and family would disown me.

ARGUMENT #1-A: Simon LeVay And the Hypothalamus
DISPROVEN 17% OF LEVAY'S FINDINGS CONTRADICT HIS OWN CLAIMS.

ARGUMENT #1-B: Twins BY BAILEY&PILLARD
DISPROVEN.First, Pillard and Bailey's findings actually indicate that something besides genes must account for homosexuality. If 48% of identical twins, who are closely linked genetically, do NOT share the same sexual orientation, then genetics alone CANNOT account for homosexuality
, all of the twins Pillard and Bailey studied were raised in the same household.

ARGUMENT #1-C: Genes
is illogical in that it assumes inborn means normal or morally acceptable. That assumption is faulty, for 2 reasons:
First, "inborn" and "normal" are not necessarily the same
Second, inborn tendencies towards certain behaviors (like homosexuality) do not make those behaviors moral. They have also found that obesity, violence, alcoholism and adultery are found to be inborn from parents.Surely we're not going to say they are legitimate?

I met Gwenneth at the office where i gained my first employment.
I was looking for people who liked classical musis, Gilbert and Sullivan and gardening. There weren't many. The office supervisr told me to "Try Gwen, She likes those things."
We seemed to become friends quite soon, going out to shows and sharing gardening times at each other's houses. After evenings out, we would share a kiss. This became more serious and Gwen asked me shold we just be friends or go on as we seemed to be.Thank heaven we went on. After 3 years we purchased a house and lived happily. If not ever after that is another story

Why are so many stories in erotica books about S&M, fetishes, or just generally freaky? I just want normal lesbian sex. I know that covers a big range, but that is my point exactly. I hate starting a story and finding out it is about stuff that totally turns me off. Can't all the S&M be in its own book? I read erotica to be turned on, not to thumb through picking out the 3 stories that are not bizarre.

I'd like to know some good lesbian books, fiction or non-fiction. But I prefer recent ones to republished stuff from way back. Authors would be helpful as well or even publishing companies.
