Arn't most perople bisexual, especially men?

Question

What I don't understand is how can a man call himself gay or straight but still have had sex a man or a woman? For instance I have heard gay guys say that they messed around w/ straight men. Obviously those men were not straight bc if they were, they would not have fooled around w/ another man. Also a majority of gay guys I know have had sex with women sometime in their life. I don't understand why they consider themselves gay bc if they were they would not have been able to attain an erection with a woman. This make them bisexual in my opinion. Can anyone explain this further??? Why is everything in black and white?

The question is kinda miss leading. No I don't think most people are bisixual and why especially men?
I kinda get what you mean though in your explanation. Its a hard question to answer. The fact that a man is aroused by another man or women doesn't determine his sexuality because there is so much to arousal and there is much room for ambiguity and confusion in how the body responds. I could get into graphic details, but I hope you understand since I don't want to go into lengthy explanation. Yes a gay man can get an errection from a woman, a straight man get erection from another man etc (all other combinations)
How is the touch of a man different than the touch of a women when you don't know the sex of the source of the touch?

I think weather or not you identify yourself as hetero/homo/bi sexual is how you feel at the time. Not what you have done in the past. It is possible to convert. Its not as simple as saying, you had sex with the opposite so you are hetero, you had sex with the same so you are homo, you had sex with both so you are bi.

It's how you feel, not how you decide to be. It is possibly to be totally sexually confused and it change alot, but over time when there are patterns as to what a person is attracted to is going to weigh the most on what they should be identified as.

ps. Normal is just a statistical number. It would change as the majority changes. Whats normal now isn't what was normal 500 years ago and might not be whats normal 500 years from now

I can't speak for the ladies, but as for men, I think most are either bisexual or at the very least, have some bisexual tendencies. I've lived to long to believe otherwise.

Does that mean that I deny the existence of straights or gays or "experimenters"? No. These folks exist. They are what they are. There are those who claim that both the gay and straight lifestyles are learned, however.

Men in general are very malleable and versatile in their sexuality. Especially among the outwardly straight male population, I've seen far too much evidence of a hidden, secretive attraction to their own sex. Most control these urges, however. And quite frankly, I think after a while, most men are aware of this attraction to other males about themselves and more importantly, about other men -- and they accept it -- but usually keep this great truth about men locked inside -- in fact, most take it with them to their graves.

Maybe the gay men who slept with a woman before did the same?

To be bisexual, you'd have to have an equal attraction to both sexes! Some choose to live as a Heterosexual, to fit in... and be "normal", but that doesn't mean that they still don't fantacize about the opposite sex. I think each case is different.

erection can occur regardless of anything,even when you are in a library or when your pants are bit tight. u need to be a man to understand this, honey! i think straight men who have slept with other men feel the experience as something like masturbating...i know schoolboys who slept with other boys when they were no females around. being a straight guy i can say i`ve never been turned on by a guy, i find the idea repugnant. but i am really turned on by women having sex with each other.

Well, my gay cousin had sex with a woman because he was either:
A) In denial about his sexuality; or
B) Trying to hide it from others.
It doesn't mean he's bisexual.

And the 'straight' guys fooling around with gay guys is rediculous. They're either gay or bisexual and are too afraid to admit it.

Arn't perople? the correct phrase is: aren't most people Bisexual? Not really. Bisexuals can be men or women! Who sleep with people of the both sex!! Bisexuals is one thing.

funny my guy thinks all women are bi, because all porn shows two women together, he didnt seem to realize thats because men like it and men watch it, women couldnt care less. well some blacks call it gettin it on the downlow, which is men doing men even though they dont see themselves as bi or gay. nothing is black and white really, the whole world is in shades of grey.

I would say just because they had sex with a woman some time in their life doesnt make them bi sexual. they "tested the water" and found that woman did not fit their preference.(what attracts them)but if they continue to have sex with men and women that would make them bisexual.

Most people do have sexual fantasies that involve the same sex, however most people do not act on these fantasies. It doesn't make them gay just to have fantasies about it, people have fantasies about the weirdest things ever so its not saying anything to just fantasize occasionally.
