Why are so many stories in erotica books about S&M, fetishes, or just generally freaky? I just want normal lesbian sex. I know that covers a big range, but that is my point exactly. I hate starting a story and finding out it is about stuff that totally turns me off. Can't all the S&M be in its own book? I read erotica to be turned on, not to thumb through picking out the 3 stories that are not bizarre.

I have read this types of books myself, and I have found out that they are not as good as they are played out to be. I think that taste plays a part in this, and people (authors) think that since you are reading this material then you are some type of freak, a s/m thrill est! I think that you should search the web for books that are to your liking that way you don't have flip through pages to find the two or three stories that are actually good! Try some Zane novels. They are about sex, not necessarily about s/m etc. Straight sex, women are involved, etc. Men's magazines are good for these types of stories that you want to read. Hustler, etc.
