Why don't we start having equal rights marches?

Single message focused - we are not treated as equals - where everyone shows up in every day clothes with every day behavior to literally show that we really aren't the stereotypes held in so many heads. Seems to me the best way to get beyond prejudice is to literally show how much of it is based in ignorance.

Pride parades and events are great, but those are about much more than basic civil rights - self acceptance and big funky party included. Am not suggesting that we stop them, btw.

conference in Toronto. He was also in vancouver on a recent occcaison and he went to a sikh temple opening or someother excuse to avoid the gay pride parade...I feel he was an embarassment to Canada considering that at least 1 member from Africa refused to come because Harper wouldn't appear..what I feel about him is less than despicable..any comments out there.

I'm a crossdresser and I chat with tons of guys online who are interested in dating me as Jazmin, but whenever I look for a girlfriend as a guy women seem to be totally uninterested in me. I'm not a bad looking guy and I'm not feminine looking as a guy either! I just don't understand why its so much harder to meet women.

I was watching trailers about a show due to air on BBC America titled "My Husband Is Gay". One woman says " I guess everyone could tell except for me.". This set me to thinking...if I were about to marry someone who is flaming, my gay friends would tell me. Or would they? Please tell me whether you would tell her or would you feel that it's best to stay out of it?

Are u notified of it? People keep saying they are reporting me for abuse but I haven't got any notification. If they review a report and it's insubstantial then is that why they don't send a notification to u?

I'm just wondering....

Although now that i think about it i don't know why I'm even wondering.

Because none of my questions violate the community guidelines.

If anyone has answers I would be glad to hear them.

Well guys. I have tried and may occasionally pop back in. I mean my bud's coming out of the gay lifestyle now so I'm glad to know there is a happy ending for him. Ok i'm not going lie I'm ecstatic that he's decided to come out of the lifestyle. I'm just glad he is now admitting that he is unhappy and knows he was deceived by Satan. But I will still continue to make the sites available for those who do seek a happy ending.

I will now post for those who do want another way out.
I hope to see all of you in paradise.
And know it was all out of love.
I know you will all realize in the end. When u truly meet Jesus Christ. Then it will all become clear. I just wanted to make sure that when u met him it would be to spend eternity with him not to be separated from him. I know i have at least tugged at your consciences or else none of you would have responded so strongly i'm glad to know there is a part in there inside of u that still knows the truth.
May Jesus Christ Bless u.

I'm 18 year old male and I don't care very much for sports.

Here is the question, Football season starts today. Recently last week some guy just started talking to me about Football, players and plays and all that. He asked did I like I football, I said yes, not wanting to look bad or anything. I just kept saying sure, right, conversations pieces. But I really didn't have a clue as to what he was saying. Other guys have ask what I think about this player and what. Should I just say I don't watch football.

When I was younger, I went down south to vist family. I saw some of my uncles, they asked what sports I liked, I told them, I didn't really like any and they just looked at me funny. You know when some one give you a funny look.

Should I just say when people ask "I don't look at sports". Or should I try and fake it? Or should I actually try and look at them. I just find it boring. Help.

Had a bestfriend who was a Christian and struggling with being Gay due to sexual abuse in the past. I kept an open mind toward homosexuality for 4 months for my friend caus he asked me to. I had never dealt much with the issue. So basically he knew i thought it was wrong but asked me to not bother him about dating guys and be open to the possibility that it was alright caus he explained to me all the things he had felt inside having to do with being gay so How could one not empathize with that.So I did I never said I didn't think it was wrong but I was pretty passive about it and didn't much bother him about it. I have met a number of other gay people through my best friend because My best friends began to work at a gay club so to say i know a lot of gay men would be an understatement.
Ok so now my best friend is depressed after 6 months living the lifestyle. He calls me up almost everyday and tells me he just feels like giving up on life. Maybe if I had not been so passive about it.

I'm really not trying to be funny here. This is something that has bugged me every since I watched this special called Switching Sexes: The Aftermath on the Discovery Health Channel the other night. I am in no way trying to make light of this subject. What I don't understand is the how and the why. How does a six year old boy know that he was born in the wrong body? Children don't know anything about gender until it's taught.

The thing I don't quite understand is what "feeling" like a woman/man feels like? Heck, I'm a woman but I don't wake up thinking..gosh, I feel like a woman today. It just is what is. Is it possible to feel trapped in the wrong species as well? Could a person wake up and say, I'm so tired of being a human, I feel like an alligator or a giraffe today? Why are these conflicted people limited to male and female?

Okay. I have this friend who is practically on the verge of suicide. A little over 5 months ago, he was raped by a guy outside a night-club at about 2am. My friend is married and has three kids. He never told his wife about the incident, just me and another close friend. He tried to call a rape crisis line at the time and thier response was "are you kidding?". He tried to call hotlines to see about getting tested or treatement for possible exposure to HIV. Nothing, since it was an "uknown".
Now, for the horrible part. It turns out, he (my friend), is in fact HIV positive. He says he has only had sex with his wife like 4 times in the last 5 months, and never ejaculated because he "just couldn't do it". He feels like his manhood has been stripped away, and so abviously needs some counseling and such in this regard, but this one, with winding up HIV positive is a doosy. He knows he needs to (HAS to) tell his wife, but wants to wait until after thier sons birthday pary

My boyfriend broke up with me last week. Jesse and I were together for a year and 3 months. He broke up with me because he doesn't trust me (that's besides the point) I admit I flirt with many guys, but it doesn't mean that I want to go home with them. Here's the problem.... I just saw my ex in a club with this ugly looking troll. We acknowleged each other, and he introduced this guy as his new boyfriend. I was hurt. The guy is 5'9 about 200 lbs, blonde and blue eyes. I can't believe I was replaced but this troll. I'm 6'2 175 lbs, smart, and good looking, I'm a great catch... What am I doing wrong to deserve this???

theoreticly would a man b more manly if he liked other men? even 10 year old boys would rather die then admit they liked cootie girls.
yet straight guys somehow think being precieived as "gay" for liking anal sex or some other thing, makes them less manly?

No, of course he didn't. So why do so many Christians treat the Bible, especially verses on homosexuality, as if they came directly from his mouth? If I'm wrong, and you do know of any passages in which Jesus refers to gays directly, could you point them out to me?

Personally I cannot understand why gay section is not within category Relationships, but is within Culture and grups!? Actually "gay..." is the only subgroup there!?!
Is homosexuality a culture? or is it a gruop for some separated from society for their wierd way of life!? I resent it! I feel discriminated as a gay!

I mean, let's think about this. Even if being gay *was* a choice (as a lesbian who did not choose to like women, I can safely say that it is not, at least not in all the gays I've met), why would that matter?

Even if someone did choose to live their life as a gay person, the "homosexual lifestyle" or whatever, why does that matter? I think the thing that really matters is what gives people the right to tell others that their way of life is wrong?

Even if I had made a choice to love women (a choice that harms no one, not me, not the women I am involved with), why does that give someone the right to deny me societal rights and privileges? Because I had made a choice that they don't like? What if they disagree with what shade I dyed my hair, didn't I just make a choice that they didn't like?

Is anyone following me here?
