conference in Toronto. He was also in vancouver on a recent occcaison and he went to a sikh temple opening or someother excuse to avoid the gay pride parade...I feel he was an embarassment to Canada considering that at least 1 member from Africa refused to come because Harper wouldn't appear..what I feel about him is less than despicable..any comments out there.

I'm primarily not talking about gays..I'm primarily talking about the world aids conference.

Hello!! :o) It was a mistake for Harper to refuse to attend the AIDS conference. And many of his supporter's think so too. AIDS is not a 'gay disease' anymore than it is a 'Liberals' disease. If Harper didn't want to be seen as supporting gay people - he should have gone in support of all of the little babies in the world who have AIDS. Craig!! :o)

I think it lost him votes, but then again, he stood by his principals and beliefs which will win him votes. And if his appearing is the reason someone would come, i'd be questioning that delegate's agenda

i don't know if he outright refused to...he may have had previous plans.

that doesn't stop him from being a c.u.n.t though. he may or may not be phobic, but ANYONE that sides with Bush is an ignorant and uneducated a.s.s.

So you think everybody should advocate homosexuality. You should hope people would accept it first.
