On the Epstein test (see link posted by Nemesis)
I scored 6.5 mean and 7 on sexual range.
That puts me on the gay side of bi.
which translated to your scale would be about 6.

As for the second part of your question, people have preferences. I like passive and like to dress in a feminine way in privacy, but my behaviour in public is virtually indistinguishable from a straight male.

On a scale of 1 to 10; I'm a -1. I'm very masculine, which is why I prefer g0y men. Yes there are those out there who are very effeminate. Yet they should not be discounted. We only know about them more because of their physical walk and behavior. What about other people such as myself; who others would never know about if we didn't tell them?

I'm an 8. Some people will have more flamboyant gay styles, like women acting very butch or gays very fem. I think it's how they relate to being gay

this is not a question that can be answered, it is just like asking how a murderer grows up to be a murderer, or a genius grows up to be so intelligent and inventive, people are who they are, and on that scale, I was a 10, but I calmed down to be a 8, but other people say I am still at that 10, just in a different way

I took the test nemesis posted and here are the results:

Your Mean Sexual Orientation is 9
Your Sexual Orientation Range is 6

I think it's probably an accurate reading for me. I've been with men in the past, but realized years ago that although I can find a man attractive, I have no desire to be with them sexually.

I think there IS a spectrum. People may deny it, but it's true. Some of them may even be a 9 or 10, but they are STILL somewhere on the spectrum. I would say I am a 7.5 on the scale of gayness, in terms of sexual attraction to men. I still know women as being pretty, and CAN have sexual relations with women, but PREFER, and are attracted more to men.
