why is it that everywhere u turn there is raceisum? Whites,blacks,hispanics.... I want to know why can't we all live in harmany?

I couldn't agree more, people always want to hate on others cause they are different, but we are all human beings, we need to unite, and by doing this, think of what all we can do

I think tat the attempt to 'educate' everyone out of racism was flawed from the beginning. One reaon why is because certain races have traits that people can see. And another reason is because, especially many in the black community, thought themselves to be 'empowered' by their successes in the legal places of America. They in essense licensed themselves to return the hatred. What many of the popular black comedians and you'll know what I mean. White this, and whitey that. It's all racism just the same.
So, I think that what you are noticing is a backlash, fueled by anger as to, "Look what they are saying about whites now. Blacks can say anything they want and be racists all they want!"
The courts apparently are wanting to call it, " Reverse Racism." I think that just puts another log on the fire.
Racism, I believe, should be called racism, no matter what color the person is who says it, or does something to express it.
The attempt a bringing around Affirmative Action were doomed from the beginning. It, in my opinion, is man's ways of solving man's problems. It seems to be as flawed as anything the govenment produces.

The people in power promote fear and division - divide and conquer. I think most people are decent and would not hate if it was not spoon fed to them with tons of propoganda.
Racism is not a culteral universal, but a theory developed in Europe with colonialism. It has been the cause of genocide in Germany, Rwanda and on and on, all in an attempt to gain power.
I wish I had an answer to how to live in peace, but the powerful are just getting more so with all that is going on. We are kidding ourselves if we think they are not trying to manipulate and weaken us.

People cannot accept their own idiosyncrasies & short comings so they have to "Hate" to cover up for it. But, btw..I defintely ask that the same question every day I turn on the news...Not to get religious here but...aren't we all created equal? Do we not all bleed red? Sadly, I don't think we'll ever get this ?/problem resolved. If people (especially those "in power") aren't making $$$ from taking care of a 'problem', it isn't going to get resolved. :(

Because ignorant people can't just let the past go and stop looking at what's on the outside and start looking at what's on the inside. Besides, society just keeps making issues over and over again--with movies or crimes or whatever.

People in every race is racists because of ignorance and stupidity. There is nothing that anyone can do about it, this is never going to change because I believe that racism is caused by fear of people who is different.
I am not racists towards any race however, if someone in general is mean to me then I will have an issue with that individual...

I think that it is survival mechanism that we no longer need.
Humans seem to be built with a 'not like us' mentality. As cavemen this would have been useful and would have helped insure the survival of the tribe.
We don't need that now, but I suspect that it is, unfortunately, built into our DNA.

Talk about hypocrites , gays discriminate just like every body else , they just dont discriminate on the same issues that they get upset about. Most people that discrimanate think their veiw is right so its not discrimanation if its against something thats wrong - incest - beastiality - etc.

it's probably the governments fault.
if you keep unrest among the races. they don't go against the goverment.
then again it probally the way their parents raised them. or the peer pressure or the society they live in

I found that every race have a diffrent consecpt of live.I'm white i was brought up between black people,i found that they think diffrently than us.email me and i tell you more.
Black people know how to enjoy live.
