This is kind of the opposite of what most people think:

I understand why guys like other guys, but I have no idea why one women would want to be with another women like that. What can they possible offer (other than friendship) that a man can't?

Please no stupid answers**

Mine must have been about 30 years ago when string bikinis were popular. 'Nuff said! :-)

It's shocking to me the way they attack them and stereotype them as being stupid. How can this happen in America in 2007?

What I mean is this:
When first coming out of the closet, a GLBT person may feel sensitive and vulnerable when confronted with the harassment of straight people and right winged fundamentalists.
Then, as time goes on, that feeling changes to one possibly of anger, defensiveness, and "gung-ho" involvement in political activities and GLBT aweareness, becuase the GLBT person has gotten comfortable in their identity, but still wants to stop the harassment for their newly out GLBT community, becuase THEY have been there themselves.
Then, over time, as we get older and wiser, listening to the harassment and the homophobia, we just stop caring, because we don't want to feed the craved attention by the homophobes and harassers. Yet, when we get to this point, and stop "feeding" the behavior, then we get accused of having an 'attitude" if we just choose to ignore these people.

I'm a lesbian, and my girlfriend is very aggressive when it comes to sex. She would always come on top and hold my hands down so that I couldn't move. I usually try to overturn her but then we end up having a fight in bed....... How can I be more aggressive?

If there is one, I would like to know what it is. I've been gay for a long time but probably wasn't home when it was delivered…

Recently a straight friend of mine asked a question about gay people. A simple question: "why are all the gay guys I meet so effeminate?" And it has a really simple answer: "they're not; you just didn't realize the other ones were gay, because they're not effeminate." But he'd never heard that answer before -- even though he's known gay people for years, it's just not something he felt comfortable asking, because it seemed like it might be an insulting question.

It seems like the answer to that question should be really simple to find, but it isn't. There's no resource for well-meaning but clue-free straight people to ask the questions that they might be embarassed to ask, for fear of seeming clueless,
bigoted, or just nosey.

So I'm setting out to change that, and I need your help. What are the questions? Think hard, dig deep. What are the questions you've always wanted to know about gay people, but were afraid to ask? (If you're LGBT: what are the questions you always get?)

Do you not understand, the trolls put the bait out there for you to reply. Then they report you for various minor infractions. These add up and get you suspended.

Report them and move on. Do not give them a second thought.

Once they identify you as a threat they will not stop until your account is suspended.

I know that NOT ALL blacks are like this, but i notice the issue of respect is brought up more in the black culture, specifically in their music. They are always rapping about trying to get respect, giving respect, being disrespected etc.I'd like to know their definition of respect. I am referring to ghetto blacks that dont value education. This includes ones that throw food wrappings on the streets(breeding more rats and bugs in their neighborhoods which are already a mess), The ones that get into fights over menial things. They wear clothes that dont fit well. They have babies with different mothers and fathers and dont get married. They dont take care of their kids, yet they demand respect from others.
I know there are white trash, hispanics and asians who are just as bad but AGAIN, it's ghetto blacks that are always bringing up the topic of respect.
For ghetto blacks, I'd like to know If you dont respect yourselves , your kids, your environment, y should anyone else respect you?

I see that people come down on people that choose not to get married but choose to have a family together. Does two people with are happy live together own their home, have stable income and job looked down upon just because they choose not to get married..

Im following a similar logic to: promiscuous females are that way because of broken bonds with their fathers and wife-beaters had bad relationships with mom. Could pedophiles be that way because they don't have kids.

I mean, I could see why somenone would love kids. Perhaps in pedophiles that natural love of kids has been distorted.

we know they are crazy, but wy are they crazy?

I have a lot of pakistani friends, all speak english and stuff, but i hate the way our country adapts to them, like i went to a school that my cousin goes to, and all the signs and stuff are translated into punjabi, if they come here i believe they should get used to the english way of life, because us adapting to them, does not seem to do them any good, aswell as us. England is england, i mean next they will be changing it to englastan, i am not racist and have no problem with foreigners, but people should just let them adapt to us.

When people say lifestyle, it insinuates that being gay is a choice. I'd like to point out that being straight is never referred to as a "lifestyle" or a "choice".

Don't you think that being apart of the LGBT community is who you are, rather than a lifestyle?
