I can't stand SOME black people. The "thugs". Dumb, cowardly, sociopaths who are only tough when they are in groups.

I am white but I can't stand SOME white people (some are beyond arrogant and beyond ignorant. And I'm talking about the ones you might see on Jerry Springer on any day).

I can't stand SOME people from every race there is.

Do you think I'm racist? or do I just realize there are f'ed up people in every race?

What the hell are we teaching our kids? Recently I was out of town and I watched my friends son play t-ball and some kid asked who was winning and a parent said we're all winners here. Now I was confused isn't there supposed to be a winner and loser. I know what you're thinking they're just kids, but we fill their heads with this nonsense that everyone is a winner. We must show them that with hard work and determination you can be the best. We must teach them that, yes you're going to loose sometimes, yes you will fall down, but get back up and try again. You know the people who come up with this crap are sending our country right down the sh!ter. Just look around you life is a big game full of winners and losers, that's why we have the rich and the poor. You know we can't all be great at everything and I know we want are kids to do good, but we need to stop feeding this crap to them.

My youngest son who is 17 y.o. is openly gay to anyone who cares to listen and the other son who is 20, insists to me he isn't gay but tells others he is. The youngest son says he has known since he was 7. I somehow missed the clues. I don't know how to react to either of them about their lifestyles because they're so secretive.

I thank god that my family equiped me to understand the nature of racism as it exists in the educational systems and poeple that I encountered growing up. Racists target the very young as they are the most vulnerable, and suceptable to their bigotry, particularly in educational systems. Internalizing the toxic emanations of such would have done a lot of damage to me if I had not been otherwise equiped. I see it in others who weren't as fortunate as myself and for them it could very well be too late. What do you do as a parent to equip your child so that they are sufficiently armed against the damaging affects of others ethnic bias, hatred, racial jealousy and intolerance?

I guess I'm not talking about black people because we don't know what the first race was. But why are they black, and why are we white, and so on?

In light of the high divorce rates and broken homes in the US, even among Christians, why not fix the institution of marriage first? then it would make more since to have all these Defense of Marriage Acts. Isn't it hypocritical to defend a broken institution? If marriage is all that, why is there so much divorce, broken homes, and people just deciding to live together? Recent US census figures state that for the first time in history there are more single adults than married ones. Two-thirds of children born in black communities are out of wedlock. In light of this situation, why is there all this fervor to define marriage between a man and woman?

Does the Prez come up with these nominees out of personal conviction or just to stir up enough ruckus to distract people from real issues for which he has no answers? (Not that he would be the first President to use this tactic).

This is ridiculous. Paris Hilton is a horrible person who has never or will ever work a day in her life. Do they let people out of jail due to STDs?

I firmly believe that LGBT people are canaries in the proverbial coal mine when it comes to how much freedom is in a country or region. We see that the countries with the most freedom for everybody treat LGBT people the best. When Russia was becoming freer, "sodomy" was decriminalized, but now LGBTs are being beaten for trying to have a rally in Moscow. The Middle East is horrible for gays, and just slightly less horrible for straights. And so on, and so on.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has seen this, and has their own observations.

Ok so I'm a black girl...(nothing that entirely has to do with this). I started wearing black eye-makeup, then black nail polish. then all of a sudden I started liking a couple of rock bands. I wear all black-oufits from time-to-time (and since I grew up mainly with black people I mix in that style) then I found a black wrist band and now I wear it like all the time. For some reason I even changed my hair style too! (Just to let you know this all took place veryyy slowly.) Now whats worse about this whole thing is that someone called me emo. I was just changing my style and tell you the truth I like it...Alot. To point out the fact I was called 'emo' is wayyy wrong cause first I'm too happy to be emo (even if its not all about saddness and depression).

Personally I hate sterotypes, I be who I wanna be, its just that I happen to be wearing black, like rock, etc etc that throws people off. What do ya'll think about this?

if you are like that normally and naturally then trying to act extroverted is'nt that ultimately being something that you are not?I mean fair enough an introvert should socialise and be friendly but at the end of the day you can only be you, and nobody can be you but you.

Do you talk to yourself, do you get strange looks and do you feel embarrassed if you're caught out.

If I go out without my shopping list, the best way I can remember what to buy is to say it out loud. A few years ago I'd have had some strange looks for 'talking to myself', but now with the advent of the hands free mobile phone I can get away with it.

Yesterday, I noticed a man chatting away to himself, then realised, when he was trying to decide on what size eggs to get, that he was on his mobile, probably his wife on the other end telling him what to buy.

I have seen so many posh people with red cheeks. Why is that? I've heard all the "joke" reasons for this, but what's the actual reason? Examples include the Royal Family and the posh ones on The Apprentice.
