Its wrong to say halfcast because he`s half white and half something else.I know what people would say in the past if the father is mixed with black but i won`t say it because i don`t know what your angle is.You call the person mixed that`s all.

Why are you focusing on their skin color. Call them by their name prefixed by Mr. Mrs. Miss or Master if in writing.

There is no special way NOR SHOULD THERE BE to address someone based on their parental or cultural heritage.

In the US, it would be Mr..Mrs., Ms., or Miss. They would be considered a person of "mixed race" unless they looked completely white.
