Maybe he was crying because you were ending the friendship. Men cry, it doesn't mean they are gay. It does mean that you are ignorant if you came to that conclusion.

If you two have been friends for 15 years, I understand why he cried. Your friendship obviously means a lot to him, and I'm guessing he feels it was over something very stupid. If you feel the same way, I'd do what I could to make up with him.

what is not very normal is that you wanted to end a friendship of 15 years because other friends your friend has. I would cry too!
To answer your question, NO, crying does not make someone gay.

Best friends for that long really do love each other, or at least he loves you, but that doesn't make him gay-- it is brotherly love usually and you should certainly sit yourself down and think about what you are doing to yourself as well as your "best friend". People have too many hangups these days over sex and being gay and all--whatever happened to guys being good close friends? I ran off my best friend essentially when I got married, because I no longer made time for him, and have regretted it ever since. Good friends are rare and precious, and if you really do see this guy as your best friend, then lower your defensiveness and apologize if you screwed this up, and hope he forgives you.

Hi this does not make him gay at all, you mean loads to him as a friend, that's why he is upset, he does not want this to happen, you should really patch this up before you loose a true friend, believe me they are hard to come by

It doesn't mean he's gay.
By the way, "ending your friendship" makes you seem sort of gay.

Obvioulsy he put an emotional attachment to your friendship seeing as you were very close.

A guy being emotional (at any age) is not an indication of sexual preferences. He is a normal teenager.

Words of wisdom for you, young man. Don't ever be afraid of a man that says he loves you......fear a man that says he hates you.
