Does the Prez come up with these nominees out of personal conviction or just to stir up enough ruckus to distract people from real issues for which he has no answers? (Not that he would be the first President to use this tactic).

Refresh my memory, which party's president fired the Surgeon General just for recommending masturbation as a form of safe sex?

since the HRC has spoken against this person, I would suspect he will not be approved.

I did some research on him, not much just a quick scan, and he is definitely a distraction. A dangerous one if our Commander in Chief misplays his cards.
In addition to being anti-partofthehumanpopulation, he appears to be a religious fanatic. (No, I've no issue with religion. It's the fanatics who scare me)
I don't know how bad the real nominee will turn out to be, but if this guy is the distraction, it must be one corrupt person indeed.
peace :D

I am always surprised that people that lack a progressive agenda get into office or nominated for that matter. Shows you how backwards & out of touch the US has become. The US is hardly a world leader anymore as they are more of a bully.
It's embarrassing.

Michaelangelo Signorile thinks it's a poo pot stirrer, but nevertheless has recommended that we call Sen. Kennedy's office, even though we're sure he's well aware of the "madness" of the decision and won't likely let him in. If you listen to Signorile or hit his blogspot, he keeps us all well updated on OutQ.

Yea, he should more compasionate like Clinton. Remember he's the one that put "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" and "The Defence of Marriage Act" into law.
Face it dude, neither party wants you.

He's a quack.
I'd be worried a bit more except I am sure he won't be confirmed.
