Do you talk to yourself, do you get strange looks and do you feel embarrassed if you're caught out.

If I go out without my shopping list, the best way I can remember what to buy is to say it out loud. A few years ago I'd have had some strange looks for 'talking to myself', but now with the advent of the hands free mobile phone I can get away with it.

Yesterday, I noticed a man chatting away to himself, then realised, when he was trying to decide on what size eggs to get, that he was on his mobile, probably his wife on the other end telling him what to buy.

I often catch myself talking to myself but not in public. Because I have dogs and often talk to them and when I'm alone I sometimes think out loud. I do worry that in a few years I'll end up like that crazy woman who yells at people while she walks down the road.

Yes Bluetooth is great isn't it? You can drive and talk to yourself and instead of people thinking you are a nut job they think you are in deep conversation about anything from what wine to buy for supper or nuclear reactors. AND it doesn't matter if you have an ear piece or not because they probably think if they don't see one that you have a REALLY cool one because they are getting smaller!

talk to myself and yes answer myself too. was walking down the street with a little tan colored book a few years ago talking to myself. then a car honked at me and the driver asked if I needed any assistance, to which I responded " yes. " the driver commented " I used to think anyone going down the street talking and answering himself was crazy. now I realize 9 out of 10 times he is studying his Lodge Ritual Work. " which was exactly the case.

Nice to know I am not alone. Years ago I was told it was OK to talk to yourself, even answer yourself, but if you go huh some one is liable to call the men with the butterfly nets to take you away.

Wow I was just thinking about this like an hour ago... OK I think that it's OK to talk to yourself as long as you don't think there is someone else there because it's really just thinking out loud...

That's because so many people are talking into their cell phones, nobody is sure if you're talking to yourself or someone else.
