I have seen so many posh people with red cheeks. Why is that? I've heard all the "joke" reasons for this, but what's the actual reason? Examples include the Royal Family and the posh ones on The Apprentice.

Its because often 'posh' live in the countryside and do a lot of outdoors things in the winter like horse riding and farming and that. It's actually pretty healthy to have the ruddy cheeks, shows you go outside.

no that is actually true
'posh' people, people who have a fair bit of money are more likely to live out in the country and do outdoorsy sports and persuits and stuff so they have that flushed look u get when u go for a brisk walk in the country
no ones judging or being 'classist' thats just the way it is

The thing is for you to realize that your self-consciousness, while not unique or inappropriate (many peop,e with similar complexions share it) is out of proportion both to the severity of your condition, and the likelihood of treatment being able to help it. In other words, you are to at least some extent going to have to come to terms with living with some or all of the redness and flushing. Avoiding things which trigger redness (alcohol, caffeine, spices, heat) may help a bit, though obviously it's not possible or even desirable to avoid all of these all the time. If you were a woman, I would recommend green-tinted makeup, which blocks redness, but in our culture men almost never agree to use this.

This question has to be the lowest class load of nonsense I have ever read. Look at the medical evidence, rich people live longer and are fitter than poor people.

I think they are blushing. Posh people may just want to be normal and they are ashamed of their poshness.

and guilt can do it and so can shyness.

because they drink more, supposedly eat more healthily and have more time to go for walks.

isnt a red face a sign of alcoholism or high blood pressure?

Actually, it's because, as you might now, they don't actually go out when the sun's up (sure, they go out when there's daylight, but they wear all kinds of clothes to "protect" themselves), thus making their skin much less tolerant to it.
