Today, a whole bunch of citizens of a small town were out doing a town clean-up. They cleaned neighbors' yards and businesses without pay or being asked. It is nice.

The Wizard of OZ : Last night you sent me a "VIOLATION NOTICE EMAIL, due to issue/question I'd posted openly earlier that day.
I've emailed Customer Service twice. First time to call attention to a certain hypocrisy of yours, being : You allow through, comments that are offensive and cruel and yet, my question which had none of this was judged a violation which you'd have you take recourses - I do not fully understand.
2nd time I emailed you. Also last night, after you failed to re-contact me with a clear explanation, I asked PLAINLY That I WANTED TO BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY FROM MEMBERSHIP in your duplicitous in operating, according to "CIVILITY" requested by the community guidelines, which you seem to allow be BREACHED by some and and yet DENIED, with violation notices to others.
Why haven't I had an answer from you people?
I'd like to no longer be part of this website for reasons, above described!
What REALLY is the REASON, this website exists.?
Are you a "BIG BROTHER" type of FRONT?

Does anyone know where I can volunteer in the Raleigh, NC area to work with poor people or old people?

It's for a project and I need to get a few hours of volunteering in. The problem is I need to be able to do it before March 31 so if you know anywhere that will take last minute things please let me know.

I'm looking find somewhere for 1-6 people. If they don't take groups thats fine.

What could it be?
Well ...theres people in the attic,cant catch them,i hear their voices talking ****,i hear squelch of cb radio or device alike,i let a neighbor use the phone and got a bill,it was long distance to a goverment radio communications for police 2 way???What the fudge am i suppossed to do,and i have many other probs amongst others???-help me



and then after finding out # ,neighbor ran out after me with the shivery/quivery voice trying to give me new furniture???

fyi.i am not the only person who can verify all of this information.its just a matter of show and prove..i am not crazy all though when all of my personal belongngs got ripped off they laughed and stated ha hes going crazy...un quote

How come this never happens in the united states of America? How many rich people out there actually help the poor? im not saying donate to charity, because how much of that really goes to people that really need it?Kawamoto, one of Japan's richest men, said he plans to open eight of his 22 Kahala homes to .needy Hawaiian families.I wonder if any one who is rich would do this in america?

We’ve been in this troop since 2000, put in many volunteer hrs. OA elections were held last night although the leaders knew that 3 of the boys were in a school play & wouldn’t be there, one is our younger son. He is eligible & really wanted this but was not elected possibly because we weren't there. Unclear whether there was a quorum or an OA rep present. One of the 2 boys elected isn’t eligible, he’s too young but he’s the son of the committee chair. The troop also refused to hold an Eagle Court of Honor for our older son; we celebrated with the Cub Scouts instead. The Scoutmaster is grooming his successor, a career district Scouter who doesn’t appear to have any Scouting or leadership skills, including Wood Badge. The former committee chair wanted my husband who took Wood Badge, to become Scoutmaster but it’s not going to happen. Things have been going downhill fast lately, many boys leaving, families not participating. It will break our hearts to leave. Any thoughts?

The reason why I ask, is that I answered a question, by someone, called 'Beckham' earlier in the week - 'Should black people improve their skill in fighting for their rights', asked he/she, ending with '...they are obviously unskil(l)ful in this respect'.
It seems if black people remain silent, they're open for criticism - and if they speak up, they're accused of 'attitudes' or being 'mouthy'. Can they win?

There seems to be a lacking for generally caring about environment and neighborhood. Illegal dumping in the alleys and litter on the streets are big problems.

How can we get everyone to care about our neighborhood, and to stop illegally dumping, and trashing our streets?

ok... so my sis is set on donating money for something. She wants to donate money to a shelter for animals... abused animals... or something for animals. Is there any donation things like that, that she could donate money to? if so... do they have a web site or anything? we're in ORLANDO FLORIDA... if that helps.

Also... what are some good ways for her to raise money. I don't want to help her... i think she should do it on her own. She has a garage sale in mind... but other than that.... is there anything else she could do? she's almost 14.
