Food Not Bombs?

Does anybody have any past or present experience with the east bay organization Food Not Bombs or have any additional information other than what is offered online?

The United States can end world hunger with the grain we feed to our live stock. Unfortunately $$$ rules not decency. Politics will not allow for humane or even sane policy, it is an unfortunate aspect of today's world.

Well : according to " Catholic Church they'd would send
Foods for Donations and today feeds the Homeless Shelters
only " also you'd can volunteer by helping the American Red
Cross too !
