to people on Housing benifits. Many landlords will not rent to clients because Housing benifit is so slow . Part of a govermnt plan to make the poor struggle even more ?
Shouln't there be a law to cover this under discrimination?

I have found lots of mixed foregin currency while cleaning out a spare bedroom. I know that airports often accept foregin coin donations to support charities like UNICEF. I was wondering if there were other organizations or places where I could mail/drop off coins other than the airport.

So two months of a crappy low paying job,bills stacking up,you go to the Dr. and find out you need surgery,maybe 8 weeks of recoup,...your already tooooooo far behind on bills,..Have a really good job posibility calling, children need a roof over ther heads.....ignore your health and go for the JOB?...do a lousy job cause you need fixing...get surgery and become homeless?OK, so adoption is not an option or even a good joke,...no I don't belong to a church ar have a suportive family,...it's just me and my girls ....What now?

Me and my husband want to become foster parents.


But we also want to help his mother, she is in an institution in Puerto Rico. She is mentally ill. We would like to get her and bring her back here. She is not violent or agressive in any way. From what I understand she just gets very emotional and breaks down into tears a lot (we cant tell how much of it is mental illness and how much of it has to do with giving up her kids all those years ago), and all the medications they have put her on for all these years has made her mildly mentally retarded.

Obviously the system wouldnt let me take care of kids with her there, and sometimes I worry about the impact it might have on my child.

We havent bought a house yet, so I still have a lot of time to think about it, but I need some insight.

My friend and I need to do a project that revolves around any Social Justice issue we choose and we both love animals and the environment so we thought that it would be wise to volunteer at the SPCA to start. My husband and I are looking for a mission opportunity to serve for about 6-12 months. He is the superintendant of a construction company and I work with eyecare (dispensing glasses).
