Because sometimes the person who asks the question does not give enough information.

And sometimes the answer to a question is in fact another question. Why do people have to be so strict and harsh. This isn't a game show where you can get kicked off just because your answer isn't something other people agree with.

Sometimes it is good to hear someone elses opinion even if you don't share that opinion.

Its the psychological part of the brain.When someone asks you a question you seem to know easily you respond with a question.As if to make the person with the question look at it from another point of view and figure it out on their own.
