Being sent to anger management counseling even though the only violent thing I've done was determined self-defense!

Seems like I should get reviewed or something before I am ordered to go!

Anything similar?

I am really curious why more people don't give to charities. I understand why not all people give to the homeless.. Many people feel like they are going to go and spend it all on booze or drugs. But what are your excuses for not giving to reputable charities online or in your community? I'm just curious.. Because even $1 can help someone in another country. Everyone has $1.. In other countries that is a weeks worth or even a months worth of food while to us it is just a pack of gum. In many countries they make less than $15 a year so if everyone just gave $1 in the right places they could change the world!

I went on a three-day bender and told my wife I had to fill in for a sick buddy of mine who's a shrimp boat captain. I told her nobody on board had a cellphone so I was unable to call home. I promised I'd take her out to sea tomorrow.

Recent government studies show that we could drastically reduce the amount we pay to house our inmates by outsourcing them to India and Mexico.

Hello- I thought I would throw this out to the community here and see what people thought. My wife, some friends of mine, and I run a non-profit that assists landmine and bomb accident s survivors in Vietnam, Cambodia and on the Thai-Burma Border.

Our organization is called Clear Path International.
Check out our website at www.cpi.org.

We just received a matching grant for our work in Vietnam from the US Dept of State... so they will match donations to us.

My question: What do YOU think would be a great way for us to raise awareness of our efforts? What can you think of that we have not yet?

Thanks!

James

I really don't hate liberals, I just wanted to grab some attention. I also wanted to test out a theory. What I can't stand are the hedenistic, those who follow their own desires rather than living a life a self-denial. Godless or not, those who don't satisfy their every need are better people than those who are. They are also better thinkers and benefit society. Start your answer with penguins or I won't even read it. I don't know how people get up if they are only living for themselves. I see it every day on the TV and in government. Just a few decades ago, democrats and republicans dissagreed, but they got along because they all wanted to help the country. What happened? That's what I want to know. When did America stop caring about eachother?

We are redesigning our website and I need to know if it is neccessary to make any donations made to us public as a declaration of thanks. I can't find anywhere else that does it, so I guess it's not part of the "contract" of being a charity, but do you think we should make it part of our website?

It is with a sad heart that I pass on the following news:Join me in remembering a great icon of the entertainment community. The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection and complications from repeated pokes in the belly. He was 71.Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased coffin.Dozens of celebrities turned out to pay respects, including Mrs. Butterworth, Hungry Jack, the California Raisins, Betty Crocker, the HostessTwinkies and Captain Crunch. The grave site was piled high with flours.Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy and described Doughboy as a man who never knew how much he was kneaded.Doughboy rose quickly in show business, but his later life was filled with turnovers. He was not considered a smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half-baked schemes.Despite being flaky at times, he still,as a crusty old man, was considered a roll model for many.Doughboy is survived by wife, Play Dough; children John DougDough & Jane Dough. The funeral was held at 3:50 for 20 minutes
