Just recently i was watching the Montel Williams Show. They had a young women who founded hat off for cancer. Iwas wondering if anyone may have seen the program? If they remember if she was from the U.S. or Canada. I would like to know if she is in the U.S because i would like to donate a hat or two to the organization. I would appreciate the input. Hello... I wanted to do something benificial this christmas...and i thought if i got my friends together we could purchase presents for an orphanage...or salvation army or something... so kids could HAVE a christmas. ----------------------- I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions for a children's orphanage/charity that my friends and i could call about toy donations..... or just adopting a child to buy a certain something for and fufill their christmas wishes!!!------------------ill thank you soo much for helping me ahead of time... this would make a huge difference!!-------------------------------------
and please make it a charity around the northwest/ohio/indiana/pennsylvania area.

what i dont understand is why is that every country has competition. dont we all live on the same planet? and whatever india finds on mars will affect us all equally. if all the countries are working together then probably right now you would see the title on the news "earth mulls unmanned mission to venus by 2013". i'm not only targeting india, but every other country that has launched or will launch a shuttle .
just a thought. is there competition because if you find petrol or gold etc on mars ,the country will get it all??? or will there be a HUGE WAR on who will get those untouched minerals and jewels?

we are students in delhi,india and we want to do things like help raise funds 4 warm clothing for people on the streets or books for poor kids or even provide shelter for street animals!!what prove do we give people that we're using their donations for a good cause?we've just started out and have'nt volunteered with any NGO'S yet.How do we include these activities in our cv's?

i have to do 20 hours of community service?
what are some things i can do that won't be too hard?

I thought about doing the volunteer work at petsmart...
but i would have to clean up after puppies and things, and i just don't think i'm cut out for that...

please don't ask me what i did to get community service or that i deserve to pick up after puppies..

where can i volunteer?
