there is no answer for this question, its a mystery. THe only possible answer is to sterilize some people at a young age whom should never have kids. That answer will be as stupid as any other heard on this question. Sadly people dont care, frankly i wish i could but i cant

Some people don't want to take up the responsibility,some orphans may be a lot of trouble.I have to say,though,that these people are bastards,they only care about themselves and not for those without parents.

Many don't realize how hard it is to actually adopt a child. I know a couple who makes plenty of money, live in a nice house in a nice neighborhood, and still have been turned down by adoption agencies for different reasons. It's not as easy as just going in and saying I'd like to adopt an orphan...not to mention how long the process takes with "red tape" and tons of paperwork!

are you calling the orphans or the parents bastards? Bastards are children born illegitimately you know.
The adoptable children need to have their photos placed in places where the public can see them and be aware of the fact that these precious ones need a permanent home.
They need some great advertising and P.R. Plenty of people want to adopt.

The question should be "what's up with Adults? Why can't they adopt orphans? These children have no control over their fate or destiny. Some of them come from abusive homes, and therefore tend to act out which makes adoption hard for them. Then there's the "system", it seems you have to be "perfect" to adopt children, although you don't have to be perfect to give birth to them.

If you do some searching, you will find that the number of orphans has decreased dramatically............most towns don't even have orphanages anymore.
Most "are" getting adopted...................why don't you adopt one to, or start an organization of awareness in your town-get the media and the press involved. The more people know about the problem still existing, the sooner it will get better.

Because it takes nothing but sex to have kids, but you must the the virgin Mary yourself in order to adopt!! They make it very difficult for people to adopt kids. I know a nice family that was refused to become foster parents because there was documentation that she was abused by her own mother as a child. She has kids of her own and is a great parent but was denied the opportunity to help. I guess there needs to be stronger regulations on making babies. LOL

Most people want babies. Older children have problems from living with dysfunctional parents. It takes special people to accommodate them. You don't want to throw a child into a worse situation then what they already have been in.

There isn't anything up with them. The problem is immorality and promiscuous sex. To put it very plainly Boys/Men can't think with their zipper up. It has to be down. Girls/Women can't think with their legs closed.
Sad but true. We live in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah.
The result of this is unwanted children. Not enough responsible adults to stop the cycle or to adopt the children
