How do ppl think it's right or ok to go out to a bar or club or party or just sit at home on a saturday night and get drunk or maybe not even get drunk just drink and then go to church on a sunday morning and think that everything is fine...i just cant bring my self to the idea that drinking and being a Christian just don't mix. Isnt that sort of hipocritical?
i kno that drinking is not a sin...but it does say in the bible that any addiction is a sin.. and i believe ppl that have more then 2 or 3 beers a day everyday or every weekend are addicted... i have told ppl before that i dont think it's right, but of course theyre gonna argue with me and tell me it's not a sin.

I do not see myself as being any better or worse than anyone else. I am no better than the Atheist or anyone else. The only one on this planet who better than everyone else is God! I am thankful that God touched my heart and has led me to a path of salvation. I don't think its right to constantly cast judgement at others. Unless you want to someday find yourself in the same position they are in. I don't want to take God for granted. I was once an unbeliever myself. It helps when someone who is a believer can show you love no matter what. That helped me! And so when I see an unbeliever, I do not want to show them anything but how I would want to be treated. Atheists choose their belief or disbelief. But why turn them completely away by casting constant judgement against them? People know and some don't know! Some know the bible like the back of their hand! Some, think they know when they don't. I lacked knowledge once. How can anyone else be any different?

He was 33 and 1/2. He was baptized at 30 years of age and became the 'Christ' or the 'anointed one'. His preaching and miraculous works went on for 3 and 1/2 years, to Nisan 33 C.E. (or A.D.) when he was impaled on a stake and died at 33 and 1/2, ending his earthly ministry. He was resurrected within 3 days later.

Is it just the young people that go door to door, knocking and spreading the things that they spread?

What do the OLDer people do? Do they have a hemified scooter? Or do the OLDer people just not go around?

I've always wonder, why? Why is it that I have never seen an OLDer Jehovah Witness at my door?

Did Jesus shown practically 3 stages of spirituality?

Dualism / Dwaitha Philosophy
Qualified non-difference / visishta-advaitham Philosophy
Non-Dualism / Advaitham Philosophy

It is said that Jesus showed us practically 3 different stages of spirituality.

1. In his childhood he prays god and thinks that he and god are different.
2. Later he proclaims that he is son of god
3. Before his death he proclaims that he is god, by saying King of Nazareth

It is said that we are flowers of a tree. The tree is god. Initially when plucked out, the flower thinks that, it is different from the tree. When it is in the tree, it feels that it is a part of the tree. When you look at the whole tree, you realize that flower is also a tree.

This is the form of spirituality. Similar stages are explained in Islam too.

Son of God demonstrated practically the progress of spirituality.

..to be in the quandary of religious dogma? Those that adhere to religious beliefs are hindering themselves and not enjoying what life has to offer. There are so many activities that one can partake in that may be against religious dogma.

Do you think that those who are religious are missing out on things that we, who are religion-free, actively enjoy?

I recently encountered an individual in the U.S. who, upon being informed that I was Ukrainian, responded... "Oh, Russian. You're pretty pale for a Russian." For fellow Ukrainians and Russians alike, this statement is hilarious on two levels. One being the most obvious, Ukraine is not Russia. This would be the same as someone saying I am Norwegian and meeting the response, oh you're Swedish. Haha. Secondly most obvious, East Slavs (Russians and Ukrainians) tend to be VERY pale compared to many Anglo-Americans and people of Western Europe, as well as a higher occurance of blondeness. Regardless of whether or not this may be "offensive" to some soft politically correct Americans, is this the average world/culture knowledge of most Americans.

A recent controversial study conducted by Duke University Medical Center indicates that those who regularly attend religious services live longer.

"There's evidence, a lot of evidence from many different faiths that people who are actively involved in their religion, in fact, live longer," said Dr. Gary Fraser of Loma Linda University.

One study found that those who attended religious services regularly live an average of eight years longer. Some experts suggest that a religious life may reduce stress and bring the comfort of a community.

People who attended religious services at least once a week were 46 percent less likely to die during the six-year study, says lead author Harold G. Koenig, M.D., of Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolin
