Isn't it true that questions with lots of stars are the questions that appear at the top of the Y!A Homepage? Are you sick of the Gap Ad? Would it make sense to 'star' all of the Gap Ad Questions so that the somewhat insulting questions were posted right there with the annoying ads? Anyone up for a peaceful riot? Or is it the gin that's causing that to make sense to me?

Well I'm just wondering, why is it that Christains consider Jesus the son of God, and Islam consider Mohammad a prophet of God (knowing that they bleievei nthe same God)?

My belief is that they conider these people so high in "ranks" becuase they started the religion. Like there is no proof of anything. We all know that Jesus was Jewish and hated by many Jews, and I'm guessing he thus created his own religion to start some sorth of rebellion.

So is it really why you guys/gals beleive that Jesus is the son of God and Mohhamed is the prophet of God?
(Please don't give me rude answers, I want to see people's true opinions)

Why do the word Christ bother some people. If it wasn't for Christ the world (including everyone) would perish. Christmas simply remind us that a savior was born to save humanity. If someone doesn't celebrate Christmass then they shouldn't try to hurt those who do. Christ is the son of God who died to save you and I, so give your heart to him and you will be saved. Many people don't know the meaning of Christmas, for it is simply a time for business and profits, but they don't really know its meaning. Christmas is a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus, the son of God who came to save humanity.

who ever though of santa because i think we all know ( cover your kids eyes ) that santa is not real and the parents have to buy the gifts. Also i dont understand why we have to lie to our kids the ones who we love so dearly. also heres a fact for the day * jesus was not born on christmas*

and my friend and i wanted a picture togetherr, and we couldnt find any to take the picturee, so i asked a cheerleader (it was a football game) if she could take our photo. and she kinda looked at us werid, but she took it. so yeaah, we were wondering if it is ohk yo ask for someone yu dont knoe to take yur photo?

I mean, if we do, that should include all religions. So that means that Pagans and Wiccans should be able to hold a circle, right? and all other religions should have their moment of prayer. Man this is going to take up a lot of time, when they could BE LEARNING!

Other than getting hands-on practice because I cannot just leave and live in the country. Preferably looking for a program that's online or I can purchase a "homeschool" course.

Which program has been the most successful for you to learn a new language? Have you tried Roseta Stone or Pimsleur? Without having to leave the country and not having someone of the language within close proximity to practice with, what has worked best for you? Also, do not include "school" in your answers, the language I want to learn is not taught in any nearby schools.

I give eveyone else in my sister's family Xmas and birthday gifts, however, I am not fond of my brother-in-law and I know the feeling is mutual from the way he treats me. Should I go ahead and give him gifts for these occasions even though my heart is not in it and it would not be sincere? I want to do the right thing but I don't know what to get him and I have to send the gifts through the mail.
