Well I'm just wondering, why is it that Christains consider Jesus the son of God, and Islam consider Mohammad a prophet of God (knowing that they bleievei nthe same God)?
My belief is that they conider these people so high in "ranks" becuase they started the religion. Like there is no proof of anything. We all know that Jesus was Jewish and hated by many Jews, and I'm guessing he thus created his own religion to start some sorth of rebellion.
So is it really why you guys/gals beleive that Jesus is the son of God and Mohhamed is the prophet of God?
(Please don't give me rude answers, I want to see people's true opinions)

My opinion, belief, faith is that Jesus IS the son of God... I consider the Bible, a true and Holy Spirit inspired work/word of God...... I consider the writers witnesses of those days... Just like any other book taken as *truth* such as history and science books, also written more as *witness* accounts, verifying what happened, seen, heard, felt, done, etc., I see the Bible in the same *fact* light...... hope this is what you were looking for..... go in peace..... God bless

the prophets in the old testament prophesized about Jesus's coming, the reason why some jews wouldnt accept him was because they thought and most still think the messiah will come as a rich king and not a humble person, the OT clearly says he'll be "one that serves" not that "will be served"
Mohammed had learned from the bible in his life before supposedly being inspired. So i think even he couldnt understand the consept about Jesus being God and the trinity. Cuz he clearly says in the Koran that " there arent "3" gods only one" that shows he didnt even understand about it. Emmanuel means "God with us" namely God is with us here on earth as flesh, and many times JEsus said he is one with God. Mohammed said to Believe in jesus and that jesus was the messiah but still rejects him, how odd.

Christians and Islam do not serve the same God. Mohammad is not a part of Christian belief in any way. The very basic Christian belief is that Jesus is the Son of God and by believing that he died and rose again you become a Christian. To Christians their is no way to God unless you first accept Christ. Islam beliefs are much different. To them Jesus was just a teacher.

You have to have Jesus living in your heart and serving Him to really understand why Jesus came to die. He was rejected by some Jews, but not all, some are born-again and accept Him as their true Messiah. Muslims have a different belief.

I believe because the eyewitness testimony of Jesus life, ministry and miracles recorded in the gospels is convincing to me. Read them for yourself and see if they're convincing to you.
Islam has not such basis for believe - no evidence.

Just to correct a misconception: Jews do not hate Jesus. Not at all.
