I don't know where you got that idea from but it's neither! It means 'hello' in Japanese.

Hello in Chinese is '喂!哈鑼![電話]喂喂' according to the website I used, but I can't read Chinese so I don't know how to say it.

Mexican isn't a language, but a nationality. People from Mexico are caleld Mexicans and they speak Spanish, which is 'hola'.

It's in Japanese, not Chinese. Mexican is not a language, but an adjective to describe people from Mexico.

今日は = konnichi wa = Good day!
今= kon = this, the present
日= ni, nichi = sun, day
今日 = konnichi = today
は = ha [here it's used for "wa", a Japanese particle which is used to declare or to make a statement]

First, Mexican = Spanish. There is no "Mexican"
language.
Next, konichi wa is neither Spanish nor Chinese.
It's Japanese for "hello".

That's actually Japanese, and it roughly means 'good afternnon'. Traditionally, though, you would say it from about 11 AM to 4 PM.
