He was 33 and 1/2. He was baptized at 30 years of age and became the 'Christ' or the 'anointed one'. His preaching and miraculous works went on for 3 and 1/2 years, to Nisan 33 C.E. (or A.D.) when he was impaled on a stake and died at 33 and 1/2, ending his earthly ministry. He was resurrected within 3 days later.

He died at 33 1/2 years as you said, but He was NOT impaled on a stake, He was crucified by being nailed to a cross.

Impaling was an old Assyrian/Babylonian execution method. The Romans used crucifixion (adopted from the Persians and made more effective) as it was more painful, and it took longer for the victim to die.

and his misistry was about 3 years so 33 would have been his age
