I find they generally make me stronger in *faith*, because when they ask a good question, and I do not know the answer, I go and study ..... sooooo, most of them do not realize they are making most of us stronger of faith..... rofl...... ironic wouldn't you say ??? go in peace.... God bless
PS- I have many non-believing friends that I cherish and love...... I am gonna love them till the end too !!!

I have friends that are atheists. They love their families. They work hard. They are generally well read and articulate. Most of the time we can have good talks about our beliefs or lack of.
On here, I find some answers that bother me, and I wonder if what it is that causes such hateful answers.

"They can be any of those things, but obviously always ignorant. They don't know the truth.
Always in denial, because they claim to know that there is no God, typically. They make themselves sound more like an anti theist.
Playing the hypocrite because they talk about faith like it was a disease, and yet their belief is faith based."
I will take my ignorance over your arrogance any day.
I'm not anti theist, but since being here you xians have turned me anti Christian.
It's not faith that we consider a disease, it's faith in a god.
Too many incorrect statements for me to let it pass without comment.

I haven't met any in real life that I know of. Only on message boards. And then, the only place I have seen them are on Christian message boards. Go figure. On Yahoo Answers, many of them seem to be here for no other reason except to try and aggravate Christians.

I guess I would have to say misguided.
Some have said it takes more faith not to believe in something than to believe.
Hopefully they are not closed minded and are open to finding the hope that comes in knowing Jesus.

I have never found an atheist scary. Other than that it depends on the atheist.

LOL, Dutchess stole my answer.
As for your question, "all of the above" seems to suit for now. Since there are many different Atheists I have many different opinions.
