I don't want things to get more advanced that they already are. I like them just they way they are. Do you want things to change in the future?

by and large i totally agree with you.
i am sure though you would want more advanced procedures
in medicine and science to save lives.
also, i may not want things more advanced, but i hope
major countries elect leaders where we can have a more
peacefull environment for america and the world.
you asked a good question!

I would like to advance to a point that we didn't need so many freakin rules, that people actually considered kindness as an option, that the media stopped trying to fill in time slots with erroneous information, and actually presented the facts, the truth. I would like to advance to a point when politicians realized their pay checks come from the same place that welfare comes from the TAXPAYERS!
They way things are at present need to change!

Change is Inevitable...Changes can be positive.. New growth, advancements...Lot of people like things to stay the same. which is how they get in a rut and never prosper in life. Being stagnet can hinder many positive changes you could be missing the chance to grasp in life so, go for it...never know if you can do things so take the leap..Instead, of wish i would have but missed the opportunity(It may never come back again)..

I agree with you because change is difficult but it is also inevitable. What if the people in the 1800's felt that way? You wouldn't have a lot of the neat stuff that we take for granted today. It's all relative.

Define "things".

Do I like my HDTV and my iPhone? Sure, I can live with those.

Do I like my government killing our troops wars with misleading agendas, watching evangelics try to inflict their beleifs upon others, living with unaffordable healh care and college tuitions, and increasing access to guns, just to name a few problems? Not exactly, I expect better than that.

Do I like things the way they are? No

No. I'd rather go back in time. I want to see if I can live without electricity.
