i am a weak atheist (agnostic/atheist). i chose to become this because i dont believe the stories that people put in these so called "holy books". also religion has caused so much pain and suffering in the world. and it seems like the majority of christian churchas just want your money. i used to worry about god and hell but it is such a relief to not have that burden on my shoulders anymore. why did you become atheist or agnostic?

I go into Lowes with a baby in my arms, carrying a large diaper bag and holding a 4 yr old's hand and it's raining outside and ask "Are there any carts?" and the girl snobbishly answers "you have to get them out of the parking lot," so I told her that it's ridiculous and of course she gives me another snobbish look.

What the hell? Isn't she at least supposed to say sorry for the inconvenience....I'm tired of looking like a biatch all the time because I feel like I am BOTHERING the employees with my questions!!

Doesn't the training process include customer service or do they skip now?

A friend posted a link to Unicef's "Photo's of the year" - this years winner is a wedding photo - of an 11 year old girl to a 40 year old man in Afghanistan. Here's my question - if we live in a society where individuals have the freedom to 'life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness' do we have any obligation to the other citizens of the world?

I am Baptist, but I have never been baptized. My boyfriend is Catholic. We would want to get married in a Catholic church? Is this possible? If so, how do I go about doing that... Ive read other posts on here that says the priest would requre documents stating where I had been baptized.

I just wanna say I'm usually a hardened sceptic of supernatural mumbo jumbo. Lately, however, after having recently moved into an abandoned, isolated farmyard within a mysterious stone circle on Bodmin Moor, atop the site of a former ninth century druid graveyard, medieval devil worshipping settlement and early Victorian mental institution, I have awoken sluggishly every morning to find myself stripped naked, with my hands and feet bound to the bedposts with bloody bandages, gaping wounds across my face, and ceiling high, blood stained scrawlings of "Suck Beelzebub's hate milk" and "Kill kill whore of Lucifer for the Winter Solstice is all but 'pon us for to shatter souls 'twixt her icy fist!"

We've also been finding a number of fetid animal carcasses, contorted into horrifyingly buckled and twisted representations of Satan's image, laid in a pentagon around the farmyard perimeter.

My wife puts this down to the stress of moving and new house noises. What do you think?

And you are following the Roman Catholic church who combined christ and the gastly roman cellebration of saturnunalia, all pagan and called it christmas..they got drunk!,feasted,had sexual extravagazas, and worst of all killed an innocent person on the 25th of december at the end of the festivities.Why ?
