P.S. I cannot look into the world and say that there is no God and that Satan does not exist

What I am trying to say is you keep on telling us that there is no evidence of our God's existence but of course we have the evidence but its deeper than what "evidence" that you have in mind (e.g. Fossils) so now prove that he DOES NOT exist

yes he exist, if he doesn't then why so many believe in him?

ok another example

Draw a heart. Seriously draw it

How you know that is the heart? the real heart is no where close to the picture you drew or imagine in your head. Why you believe that it is that shape ? Anyone prove to you that is what a heart look like?

Same thing with G*d if you believe then he exist otherwise he doesn't. If G*d doesn't exist then who the hell would try to translate the Bible to so many language? I guess they were bored and wanted money.

It is your problem. Can you prove a god exists? We all would like your sources of information other than the bible which in fact speaks of many gods.

I can prove many other gods were worshiped by reading the ancient cultures of ancient history, that is the sum of all there is. No one god ever existed, many yes, one no.

I prefer living in the now, ancient cultures were interesting to learn about but fact is I prefer my nice warm house on a cold night in front of my computer. I prefer driving my car to walking many miles because of famine, I like talking on my cell phone that I carry in my pocket so I don't even have to get up from my lovely chair. You want a god to protect you and love you because you apparently don't like the advantages that you presently have.

Prove it - I can't be bothered with fairly tales. I like to think I've matured beyond the elf under my bed at night idea..

It doesn't matter either way whether one side can prove or disprove God's existence. The only thing that matters is that to those whom God is real; they are able to follow, trust, and believe in Him freely. Just as it is important for everyone else to believe or not to believe freely. In the end the truth will be revealed. My only thought is that those who believe in God and follow Him have nothing to loose. If it is true that when we die we simply cease to exist then it won't matter. But to those who have rejected God and they find out that God really does exist; that there will be no acceptable excuse they could use because they will have either heard the Gospel or were somehow spiritually given the truth of his existence, then they would certainly have an eternity to loose.

I've been waiting for you to give proof that he DOES. You can't prove a negative. Just because we can't prove that there isn't an invisible monkey made of ice cream governing our entire existence doesn't mean we should form a religion around the idea.

Well, proof is in the eye of the beholder. Look, if you live near Boston, you're probably a Red Sox fan. If dear ol' pappy was a christian, you're probably christian. That's the best excuse I know for being a christian. If Santa isn't real, then why is a big old man with a beard who is invisible and terrible and vengeful who can watch you even when you pick your nose and who will either throw you into a lake of fire or make you sit at his smelly feet and praise him forever all that believable? You see my point, don't you? At least I can live with not knowing something. And it satisfies me. I'm a lot happier not knowing than I am making something up.

You can't prove a negative. Do you even know about Bertrand Russel's teapot analogy, or are you some Christian that has never explored alternatives?

edit:
I'm fairly confident you're not going to look into it either. Shame that a person will wallow in ignorance when presented with the evidence, but hey no harm to me.

It is impossible to prove that God exists and impossible to prove that he doesn't.

However you believe God interacts with our universe, it is possible to obtain an identical universe by removing God and creating an appropriate set of laws of physics to control the behavior of the universe.

God is irrelevant.

no one has proved... he doesnt
it just doesnt make sense...religion that is.
any religion we have today is no diferent than any before it except for the number of people who believe in it...which doesnt make it fact.
the whole world thought the world was flat. didnt make it the truth.
common sense proves to me that it doesnt exist.
if there was agod... the world wouldn be as messed up as it is.. he would have stepped in.. like he did when we couldnt as a race..read the book he had us write.
there are just to many back and forth issues with religion. they change their stories to fit their needs constantly. and have thru history. and the will continue to do so in the futurethere will never be proof. even if we discovered in the next five minutes where EVERYTHING CAME FROM AND STARTED FROM.. and could say.. there is no god...and here is the proof.
there would be a denomination of believers somewhere that would say its not enough...and they would burn the book you showed them the proof in.

Religious people, have you proven god does exist? I'm kinda tired of waiting you know. After all, the burden of proof is upon your shoulders, not the other way around.

im not atheist but im sure they've been waiting for religion to prove god exists too. Its all faith guys... which means believing, not seeing. If it was about seeing i dont think religion would exist. Now, everyone has their own beliefs. Why do you need to question them?

2007-12-17 13:19:42 · answer #10 · answered by Anonymous · 2 0

I believe he don't exist as strong as you believe he does
neither can proof their side, so this will always continue

If he exist, great, if he don't, it's bad
not much anyone can do until they die

I would like to know what this deeper evidence is?
