As long as I get my money, I don't care what they write.

No, businesses have a right to not accept checks. Just get the cash out or pay with a debit or credit card. If the check won't bounce, you should be able to get the cash out.

I'm a Christian who owns a business and can tell you that anytime a prospective customer feels the need to advertise the fact that they are a Christian, I get very nervous. Some of the biggest problems I have had in business were with those who feel the need to claim being Christian as part of their business practice.

In some places, if the person writes "PAYMENT IN FULL" on a check and YOU CASH IT you've agreed to a LEGALLY BINDING SETTLEMENT. I don't see that this would be any different and GOD IS WATCHING so BE CAREFUL.

I'd shrug and process the check....

I would think it a bit unprofessional, but that is me......

Any comment on religion are inappropriate on a business check unless it is a religiously-based business

It seems like you may be taking this as a personal afront to you.
I would not think anything other than this is a misguided individual. Who cares what he thinks? He's an idiot.
It does not hurt you in any way so ignore it and don't think about it again.

I would think that they were being antagonistic just like with the other check...happy holidays!

I'd be amused and continue processing the check.

Well, that would be incredibly rude but if it was a legal check, so be it.
