According to both Matthew and Luke, Jesus was born of a virgin. This claim makes it impossible, however, for Christians to insist that Jesus was king of the Jews. This is because tribal lineage is traced only through a person’s father. This is clearly stated in Numbers 1:18. According to Christian teachings, Jesus had only a human Jewish mother, not a human Jewish father. This human Jewish father would be essential for anyone to be a legitimate heir to the throne of David, which the real messiah will be.

Jews claim to be waiting for a Messiah King; however, they are not prepared for one....the government is not a theocracy, nor is it a monarchy....if some individual came along, he would have to turn over the entire political system to be a king!
Further, they expect this individual to rebuild the the temple, and yet have no land clearance provisions or construction plans or capital improvement fund in place regarding this....
the Bible says "prepare ye the way of the Lord." This does not sound like preparation for what they claim to be expecting.

I can understand something that has sentimental value like a family heirloom or something with the birth stones of your children. But it seems like women just love to receive jewelry period and some women seem the measure the love behind the gift by the number of karats.

And how do you feel about the idea of 3 months salary as a guideline for engagement rings? For me that would be and $11,000 ring. I wouldn't be cheap about a ring, but I don't know that I would want to marry a woman who would want or expect an $11,000 engagement ring.

I don't believe in hell and heaven. Since all human beings are genetically with goods and bads, it is absolutely man made one. Even the goods and bads are formed due to genetical, environmental and situational. Therefore it is difficult to blame the individual.

In the Bible it seems that God was not shy talking to us humans. He appeared in a bush, on a mountain, as a voice from the sky itself. He talked to hundreds of human beings. Did fantastic works leaving no question he was there and watching.

But for the past 2000 years there has not been so much as a peep from him. so what happen? did he all of a sudden lose his voice. Did his ability to directly rulle over his people somehow fade.

Where is he now?

Or has he just stopped caring?

Or is it just that the stories of his proactive involvement Just a myth?

Remember I question everything!

What if someone did it today?

What if someone claimed to be the second son of God, made miracles and posted photographs and videos on youtube all over the internet as proof and went around to all the chatrooms of the world to spread the joy and love and forgiveness that God had to offer them.

Some people would admire him for being such a nice person, but would they really "follow" him?

Would people still be downloading and reading his ebook 2,000 years after he was resurrected? Would they think that the ebook written by his top 12 friends on facebook was his clear message to humanity?

Sorry about all the technological references, but I wanted it in modern terms. Would people really be willing to believe Jesus if he still was born in the 20th/21st century?

I really think that the "historical factor" has a lot to do with belief .
