He talks to me frequently in dreams! Gives me little signs that always come true. All my life!

Dear Flower Power,

There are times in the Bible where God spoke to people through dreams and the book of Joel does tell us that in the latter days people will prophesy and dream dreams. However, i would be a bit careful to read too much into your dreams.

First let me say that God will never contradict His word- so rely more on what He's saying to you in your Bible reading (time with Him) than in your dreams. I'm not sure if God speaks to some people more than others through their dreams but i know that God speaks to us clearly and often through His word, and through the Holy Spirit that lives in us if we've acccepted Jesus as our Lord.

You have to be careful because things like interpretting dreams can lead you towards some "cultic practices,".

Hope that helps. Kindly,

Nickster

Through dreams ( night visions ), the Lord has done a LOT in my life. Ya have to have discernment though...
I KNOW when the dream is Spirit inspired...

Joel 2: 28 is active in THIS era of time...

I'm not so sure about this day and age, but it is possible! I won't reveal an identity out of respect of this person, but someone had a religious dream that included Peter and Jesus, and the person who had the dream KNEW they were Jesus and Peter.

It's possible, though!

No, your dreams are a way your body, mind, emotional self speak to you. Nightmares happen when you ignore the dreams long enough, they just get stronger to make a point.

As soon as you wake up from a dream, don't move, think about what happen, and first check with how you felt about what happened, that will tell you what you are trying to deal with, face, ignore, etc.

I do believe we are sent messages by God in our dreams but if He wants to communicate with you He will in a very soft voice.
His voice reminds me of a dove.
How I love to hear His voice and hunger for His love.

I have to agree with Phoenix . Why would god have to sneek around in our dreams ? Study some the different schools of thought in psychology and I'm sure you will begin to understand why Freud, the father of psycho-analysis thought as he did.

I believe God sends messages to people in many different ways... not everyone gets God's messages the same way... so YES, i do believe God sends people messages through dreams.

If God were truly omniscient, it would be easy to hear him all the time, right?
