I was feeling sorry for myself that we haven't heard from any of the kids or grandkids today. Then I realized, they haven't heard from us, either. I sent them a group greeting.

Rev. 7:9, 10, 17: “After these things [after the apostle John heard the number of those who would be “born again,” those who would make up spiritual Israel and would be with Christ in heaven; compare Romans 2:28, 29 and Galatians 3:26-29] I saw, and, look! a great crowd, which no man was able to number, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes; and there were palm branches in their hands. And they keep on crying with a loud voice, saying: ‘Salvation we owe to our God, who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb.’ . . . ‘The Lamb [Jesus Christ], who is in the midst of the throne, will shepherd them, and will guide them to fountains of waters of life.’”

After listing many pre-Christian persons of faith, Hebrews 11:39, 40 says: “All these, although they had witness borne to them through their faith, did not get the fulfillment of the promise, as God foresaw something better for us

be honest please. this guy i work with and we have been flirting for the past 3 months. he would always give me hugs all the time, and one time after work he asked me if i had a boyfriend and what do i look for in a guy. he also told me that he has been single for a year because in his past relationship his girl cheated on him. and i remember one time when he hugged me he slightly touched my *ss. but anyways i know for a fact that he was interested in me and i fell for him hard. so one day we were talking on msn and i asked him when he wants to chill cuz he would always say i should come over and visit him sometime and he said "i have to see when im available" i was like okay. also before i asked him if he was talking to anyone meaning if he is dating anyone and he said no. then 2 weeks later we have this conversation on msn:

My mom passed a year ago and there has been bad blood between my sister and my brother ever since (they have never been the best of friends, but at least they both made an attempt). My sister is angry at everything, even God (she has been thru her share of personal crises). At Thanksgiving my sister wouldn't come inside because she saw my brother's car in the driveway. He makes an attempt, but she remains quiet and acts like the victim she always claims she is. My sister and I have a good relationship and she always states that I am all she has. It is time for her to get over things and I want to talk to her but when I do, she always calls me "sanctimonious". I don't want to come across as such, but do believe that she needs to grow up. Hostility and holding grudges only kills you. Please give guidance on how I can talk to her in Godly love.

Acts 15:29 says to “keep abstaining from . . . blood.” It does not say merely to abstain from animal blood. (Compare Leviticus 17:10, which prohibited eating “any sort of blood.”) Tertullian (who wrote in defense of the beliefs of early Christians) stated: “The interdict upon ‘blood’ we shall understand to be (an interdict) much more upon human blood.”—The Ante-Nicene Fathers, Vol. IV, p. 86.

In a hospital, when a patient cannot eat through his mouth, he is fed intravenously. Now, would a person who never put blood into his mouth but who accepted blood by transfusion really be obeying the command to “keep abstaining from . . . blood”? (Acts 15:29) To use a comparison, consider a man who is told by the doctor that he must abstain from alcohol. Would he be obedient if he quit drinking alcohol but had it put directly into his veins?

For me it's cooking and getting ready. My family just turns on the parade or the dog show and we all get in the kitchen (we have a combo living room/kitchen) and help out with cooking. Everyone brings something, but we do most of the cooking at our house.

What about you?

Ok, so in my opinion, God isnt real. When people say God saved my life and i see him every night is just them imagining him because they want to see him. Yes, Jesus was a real man but how can he prove hes the son of God? And if God was real, who invented him? The word 'God' doesn't mean anything anymore, the way religions have changed hundreds of times through recent centuries just proves my point that little bit more. The Bible, no God didnt write it, people just made stuff up and put it in because they want somthing to believe in. Ofcourse this is all just my humble opinion, but really, how can God be really physically real? What is he exactly? If he was real Then why was it said the world was started by a big bang? Also, if he was real then why is there so many different religions believing different ways of what he is? Thanks for reading my views on God, i will read and respect anybody elses answers and give a best fairly, bye
