sends you to hell... what do you think hell would be like?

I occasionally find myself typing something that is (in my sadly delusional opinion) true, but not nice or polite. And then I regret it, so I delete the answer or simply don't submit it.

Anyone else suffer from the "If you can't say anything nice" syndrome?

If God is 'all knowing' then who are you to ask him to change his mind or try to sway his judgement? Isn't it a bit of cheek to think that you know better than 'the almighty'?

I like to know how do you grow as a person? Every night , I take an inventory of my day. I look at honestly at myself and look for times where I've been selfish, dishonest, unloving, and where I was just plain "full" of myself. I then try to do better.

So, what do you do to grow?
If you don't feel you need to grow in any areas of your life, I like to know how you came to that conclusion?

that invite themselves over for the holidays (thanksgiving or Christmas dinner) and then try to dictate what the menu will be???
Our "would be" friends called us rude for not serving exactly what they expect. Needless to say, they're on their own.

Let me clarify:

Do you choose not to believe and trust in Jesus Christ solely because you have not seen enough proof to convince you to believe?

Or....

Would you reject Jesus Christ even if you knew beyond any doubt that all of His claims were absolutely true?

** Christians, please resist the the urge to chime in and overtake this simple question with a myriad of quips and opinions.

CHRISTIANS: does it matter to you? Does it effect your faith?

Atheists, Pagans, Buddhists, Satanists, Agnostics, Hindus, etc, I welcome your perspectives as well since I'm sure you can formulate an opinion on the matter just as well as any Christian.

Either tomorrow or Wed....a boy from my home town will be on. They are having people from St. Jude's on this week. He is a poster boy, I think, for St. Jude's . He's probably 19 by now..but got cured (hopefully ) through the help of St. Jude's Hospital. My sister gave him piano lessons for awhile. She said he is a fantastic pianist. Everybody in town loves him and helped him through his illness. His name is John and he's black...so look for him. I think the show starts at 7 am. They're not sure which day he'll be on.Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!!

so I've come to realize that a LOT of christians are really judgemental. By saying you can 't be gay and having an abortion is wrong and that if you don't believe in God you're going to hell. Its being judgemental.

Its not your life so why do you care? I'm all for spreading the word of God but saying stuff like that is making you go against the Bible. It says not to judge people. and thats exactly what they are doing.

since when does it matter to you if someone is or isn't gay or has or doesn't have an abortion. its not gonna affect whether or not you go to heaven or hell. when you're judgement day comes you can tell God that you tried to spread his word. I'm sure he knows that not everyone follows his word. as long as you try to spread his word its not up to you to say how someone else sould live their life

Jesus loves you. you can choose to accept that or deny it, and thats fine, that is your own trip. but please, speak politely to one another, theists and atheists. and please, don't insult my intelligence, just because you encounter a few baby christians who don't know how to respond to or answer a question doesn't mean we're all brain-washed uninformed fear-mongers. when it comes to God and Christ, you need not check your brains at the door. can't we respectfully share beliefs and ideas?
