if there is a god there must be a devil cause you really cant have one with out the other really.
but is it possible that they are one and the same person.
or are they just made up to scare people in to going to church and being good?

God and the Devil do exist. They are separate persons. It was never God's intention to have evil in the universe, on he earth. There was a time when God existed but there was no Devil, and a time will soon come when that state of affairs will exist again.

Fact. God and the Devil are real but they are not the same person. I have studied the Bible since I was born. I know this for a fact. How is it posible that God and the Devil are the same person? God is good the Devil is evil. That dosen't mix.

Fact. There is God and the angels, and one angel named Satan was bad. He has many names (the Devil). One of his best tricks is to try to get people to think he doesn't exist, FYI.
Why would people have to be scared into going to church or being good?

When the roman church burned people alive for being heretics, was it god telling them to do it or the devil. To the people being burned it really made no difference, so perhaps they are one and the same!

God doesnt try to scare people.Satan is a fallen angel drawn away of his own lust .He turned fromthe true and living God and was cast down to earth.And people cant be scared into being good and if they were it wouldnt help anything.No one goes to heaven by being good for there is none good.Its a matter of trust in the savior.

I'm not scared and I rarely go to church, but God and the Devil are very real.
In some cultures, if someone saves your life, you become their servant for life.
I do go to church at times because I love to sing songs to God telling him how grateful I am that he has saved me.
I try to be a friend to others in any way possible because I'm grateful to God.
Yes, there is a devil. He once was the lead singer in the Kingdom of God. but he became arrogant and lost his position and was hurled from the presence of God.
He now lies, poses as angels and twists scripture to prevent people from knowing God. but you only have to turn to God through Jesus Christ and he will come to you.
