I like to know how do you grow as a person? Every night , I take an inventory of my day. I look at honestly at myself and look for times where I've been selfish, dishonest, unloving, and where I was just plain "full" of myself. I then try to do better.

So, what do you do to grow?
If you don't feel you need to grow in any areas of your life, I like to know how you came to that conclusion?

You grow by moving out of your comfort zone. Read books with unfamiliar ideas. Go to places where the culture is very different from your own. Ask people of another faith to explain their religion. This doesn't mean you have to change your beliefs, just make the effort to understand the mystery that strangers present. People aren't crazy just because they're different. It can be very humbling and illuminating if done right. You can better understand what truly guides your life and what you do just because it's the local custom. It can lead to better insight about your own beliefs, or even to a radical transformation if you discover a belief that is not really working for you. But it will be your transformation, not someone else's imposition.

If one greets the prospect of change with fear of "losing" something, one cannot grow. Growth is about change, abandoning ideas that no longer help with life, acquiring ideas that do, and learning to better evaluate new ideas through experience. Expect to run down a few blind alleys, even skin your spiritual knees. It's all part of growing spiritually.

And no one is ever "done" growing.

You grow when you see yourself being less selfish, dishonest, unloving and full of yourself. When you see yourself improving and not doing these things as much, then you are growing. Growing in areas of your life also means when you do take an inventory of your day and honestly look at yourself, you will feel you were unselfish, honest, loving, and listened to someone and their opinion. You'll feel good about your day and you'll feel like you have done the best you could.

You mustn't judge yourself... nor anyone else.

Live life in every breath.
Do not contemplate on the past-- on who you were--but BE who you ARE. BE.

When you KNOW the MOMENT-- you will no longer be selfish, unloving or anything negative... you will see the big picture and act lovingly unconsciously.

Focus on the moment... and the rest will follow.

Where? In what area? Are you talking about growing in faith? If growing in faith are you talking about maybe I can help you. Growing in faith first you have to start your devotion to God. Devotion is to put more time to God and let God fills you with His compassion. Prayer is one of the major role in growing. Talking to God and let Him share something to you that no body else can do but God. Ask Him to help you and guide you. Most of the things that God will share to you are coming from the Bible. Ask God to help you to practice this in your everyday life. Surrendering yourself to God daily is a sign of dedicating your whole life to know God more. One of the passage I like is Ps. 143:10 and the second is Ps. 118:24. I claim everyday is not my day to follow but His day. His plan is my plan. Practicing this kind of attitude change my life completely and asking God to keep the fire in my heart to share His goodness to everyone it come across my path. Learning to yield in His presence everywhere I go. Like the Scripture said Put God in your priority first and everything will follow along. Growing in faith is like child. You will learn to crawl and walking yourself and stumble sometimes. They are part of growing up. Keep trusting God and do not be discourage if something that you did is not right. Like what you said try to do better next time or keep on practicing to become perfect.
may the blessing, love, joy, peace of our Lord Jesus christ reign in your heart as you are growing in faith through Him
