All mammals including the human race have long last gone extinct due to global warming an plague. After a hundred million years of eveloution the might cockroach has finally became the dominant of the species among the insects. It has grown six feet tall and learned to stand on its hind legs. On it's front four arms it has grown little hands with four fingers and opposable thumbs. It has discovered fire and through leaps and bounds have forged forward with its technology conquering space. But one agonizing question remains. "If we evolved from beetles, why is there still beetles?"

I don't think so. Morality requires free will. If there is no "ghost in the machine," as some antitheists refer to the soul, we are nothing more than the sum of our genetic parts and environmental interactions. We brought neither into existence.

Francis Crick says that our choices seem "free will to you, but it's the result of things you are not aware of." The ideas is that all our thoughts, emotions and actions are merely the results of material causes.

I have relatives who are religious and cold and cruel as hell. They say that by beleiving in Christ that gives them the power to do whatever they want and be however they want to be and be forgiven. Even driving another relative to try to commit suicide. They act like they are the perfect christians and are mean and cruel and sadistic. Are they right? Is that what christianity is a give and take religion where u can be mean and cruel all your life and still go to heaven?

I am referring to breaking fellowship over a difference of opinion in a nonessential area. That is to be right in opinion but wrong in the Spirit. Where is the love for the brethren?

In Greek mythology, the titan Prometheus gifted mankind with the secret of fire, and knowledge. He was exiled by the other gods, but venerated by the people to whom he gave the gifts of sentience and technology.

In Aztec mythology, the feathered serpent Quetzlcoatl gifted mankind with fire and technology. He was exiled by the other gods, but venerated by the people to whom he gave the gifts of sentience and technology.

But when Lucifer, the "Light Bringer" convinces mankind that they'd be better off with knowledge and free will, rather than frolicking naked in some stagnant flower garden, he's cast as the ultimate villain.

Later myths combine Lucifer and Satan, borrowing heavily from the Zoroastrian Lord of Darkness, but in that Genesis myth, it's obvious that it's Lucifer who gives mankind the gift of sentience, and thus technology.

So why are the Abrahamic traditions the only one to hate the being that gave us sentience?

I have been taking note of some really silly, ridiculous questions being asked. Some are just lame, others are "DUH" questions and some are just plain idiotic. I know some are asked just to be asking and to be humorous, but I mean "REALLY". Do you really know how stupid you look? Can you guys tell me why you do this? Are you really that stupid.

Before any of you start going off on me about this question, let me explain.

I was down at Caser's Palace wondering around when I found a Hindu or Buddhist shrine. Seem like MGM went out of there way to please their Asian customer from importing it from Bangkok, Thailand.

Anyway, I was talking to some man there while I was burning incense for the shrine.

I was talking about religion with him and he said that Christianity was like an occultic practice.

However, I don't know what to think about that.

So what do you think he meant by that?

I imagine that God wanted us to remain separated on Earth but integrated in Heaven. On Earth, other races can harm each other and live in hatred yet in heaven we will have no need to separate as there would be no sin. On Earth, many races living in the same area cause crime and war yet in heaven we will be hand in hand. I believe in segregation so that races cannot harm each other. Why do you think Los Angeles is full of crime and hatred? I hate no other race and would not wish harm to anyone. In heaven, we will all be integrated and all hatred would be erased from God, thus no more problems. Through my 73 years of life, I have realized it for 5 years.
