I remember walking down the street with my mom and hearing wolf whistles (which she said were at me I was about 8 or 9 and knew better than that)
I can also remember, when I was a freshman in high school, having several seniors wanting me to get them a date with my sister... I don't have a sister!
I have to say she was a looker... Deep red hair... Curves where a woman is SUPPOSED to have curves... A lovely face and the beauty from within was and still is, greater than the outside was.
Dad was a very fortunate man!

I thought, when I was a child, that my mother was the oldest living human being besides her own mother.
And my Dad ! He was a burly man, not particularly tall, but very muscular, (he'd carry a 100-lb. sack of chicken feed on each shoulder from the car to the barn) and he had a beautiful round bald head like Mr. Clean's. (No earring, though!)
Actually, my mother was a very handsome woman, well proportioned, particular about manners and diction, and she was an accomplished seamstress and chef.
My dad was hardly handsome, but he was really cute. All the women loved to kiss him on his dome. I was completely shocked when I saw a college picture of him. He was in his football uniform, with this thick shock of blond hair, and he WAS handsome!

All kids think there mother was beautiful, and with mine, all men thought the same...she was a real looker, auburn hair, very Kate Hepburn look. Dad was a good looking man (at least the women thought so) , very german looking with a high forhead, 6'3", big guy who was not fat in any way...They were a damned good looking pair, looking back over old pics. Mom was stacked. And Dad was a "lady's man." What I do remember is the fights over his ...philandering. IN those days, people didn't get divorced. Dad was extemely jealous over any attention she would get from men (plenty), and he was the one who put the make on all Mom's best friends (women! I will never understand how a woman's best friend will go to bed with her best friend's husband...trust me, most men are not like that! Love and peace, Goldwing

I wish I could post some photos on the other seniors groups of my parents. But they are in storage in South Africa, and that is all part of the plans I have to deal with now. All I can say is that my mom was truly a beautiful women, and my dad was so good looking that my teenage friends use to visit me just to drool over my dad. Very Gregory Peck, but even better.

My mom was pretty, she was tall, slim, fair, with light brown hair and lovely blue eyes. She's aged well, people always say she will never look old, though she's 71 now.
My dad died when I was 3, but I got his dark hair and hazel eyes from the pictures I've seen. My stepdad is tall and slim with wavy dark hair and brown eyes, he's still a very handsome man.

My dad was extremely handsome. He looked just like Burt Lancaster! In fact, it was one of the reasons why he didn't make it as an actor -because he looked too much like Burt, so he became a camera man in the early days at CBS and worked on the big shows like Playhouse 90, Studio One, etc. He had a wonderful career. And I kept all of his studio photos!

My mother was so beautiful with her long black wavy hair and snapping brown eyes, when I was in first grade I went to school and told the whole class that my mom was Queen Elizabeth. Her name was Elizabeth and I really believed it.She always had her make up perfect and her dress neat. My dad was handsome, . he had brown wavy hair and could whistle in a warbling trill any song. I miss them both very much as they are both gone now,

My Dad was 'drop down handsome' - 6' - muscular and fit with a gorgeous head of jet black hair and the stance of a proud military officer [which he was] - yet with a sweet crooked smile and a humorous glint in his eye.
My mom was fit, kept her figure all these years; quite fashionable and cute. 5'4" and curvy.
They made quite a good looking couple.

My dad was described in a magazine article as "dapper" . He was very handsome. Mum was not beautiful but very pretty and always with a loving smile on her face.
Mum and Dad adored each other and she never remarried after he died in 1970

Well, every child thinks their mom is beautiful....but my mother really was. I've been looking at family photos recently, especially when she was in her teens and then a young woman....gotta tell you, she was really a knock-out. I remember her saying how beautiful her sister was and how she adored her, but I don't think she saw that in herself too. And my dad, well.....he's 91 and is STILL the most handsome man in the world to me!:)
