It included all of what is now Turkey, most of Iraq, all of Syria and Lebanon and Palestine. And the northern part of Iran. Adam,NOah - all that - Zarathustra - everybody appears to have been in the Kingdom of Armenia. Why do christians and jews and muslims think these people were jews from Egypt or what do they think? Be serious; it's an interesting topic.

I have this book on Kabballa and it's got two chapters on Metatron who is sort of god,jr to jews. But I asked an orthodox jew about it and he denied ever having heard of any Metatron. So what's the story here?

To me I think of someone sick and frail, which does NOT describe most 60+ year olds I know.

It's more fitting to my fellow college students, who can't afford to eat and walk around campus pale with bulging tonsils and no time to make an appoitment with Student Health.

I try to use "Senior Citizen" instead. Anyway, what are your thoughts? How do you prefer to be categorized, when it's necessary of course. I know we are all individuals with names!

Brigham Young wrote, "Now here it, O inhabitants of the earth, Jew and Gentile, Saint and sinner! When our father Adam came into the garden of Eden, he came into it with celestial body, and brought Eve, one of his wives, with him. He helped to make organized the world. He is Michael, the archangel, the Ancient of Days! about whom holy men have written and spoken -- He is our Father and our God, and the only god with whom we have to do." (Journal of Discourses, Vol. 1, pp. 50-51)

Many Mormons will say they do not teach this anymore. But if they believe their leaders are "prophets" of God then don't you think they erred in this area? Some Mormons will say Brigham Young is just misunderstood by many when he wrote this. But how come the Mormon leaders of his time are saying otherwise? Are Mormon prophets in reality false prohets?

I've been heavily considering a conversion to Judaism for a while now and am starting to study and begin practicing certain aspects. I read that certain customs are forbidden from practice by gentiles and would like to know which ones specifically, as I don't want to make such a transgression.

kind of dry or a church that clearly has LIFE in it but only sings repetitive praise choruses?

I'm not against the praise choruses --- if people like them, great. But for me I have a *deep* love of old hymns --- it actually makes me feel *less* worshipful to sing praise choruses than to sing old hymns that are packed full of God's truth.

Do I just need to suck it up and go to a church with music that I hate? Or go to a church where I'm totally excited to be praising God by singing hymns but everyone else seems half dead?

Anyone know what I'm talking about? I'm not trying to criticize anyone --- truly. But I feel like I have to sacrifice part of myself to go to either 'kind' of church!

Ok, so I am a freshman in high school. I've started doing various activities that go towards community service hours for my college resume. But when I reach a certain amount of hours, what do I do to show it on my resume? Do I have to get a signed note? If so, whom do I give this signed note to?

Who actually create the idea of trinity?

"Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord." (Deuteronomy 6:4)

"...The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; the Lord our God is one Lord." (Mark 12:29)

"And your God is One God: There is no God but He, ..." (The Qur'an 2:163)

Who write this?
"...we worship one God in Trinity, and Trinity in Unity... for there is one Person of the Father, another of the Son, another of the Holy Ghost is all one... they are not three gods, but one God... the whole three persons are co-eternal and co-equal... he therefore that will be save must thus think of the Trinity..."
(excerpts from the Athanasian Creed)

Why is the United States still accepting toys and contaminated foods from China after all the recalls, and sickness that is going on? I know that the labor is cheaper for them coming from China, but they have lots of companies here in the U.S that make toys and other products just as good as China
