To show it on your resume just list it. In a successful resume, there should always be a list of references (which would be your bosses name and number if you have a job; for community service, it would be the supervisor's name and number that handles it)..if you need proof for your school transcript that you have completed community service, go to your office, they should have special sheets which you use to fill out hours and obtain signatures. You would have to give this sheet to your high school counselor or the dean that has all your school records and sends out transcripts to colleges. Good luck!

You should do as much at one place as possible and learn lots of different things. then list the CS on the resume and list what you did there. Do not put you hours.
Most employers would say.... do community service for communitiy service sake... not to get ahead.
Give to your community with an open heart and with good will and it will benefit you in the long run.

For a resume you do not need a signed note attached. Simply note the organization you performed the service for. If you do have written references you may attach those.

Hours are okay... but what you should emphasize in your profile is *what* you did as a volunteer and *why* you did it. Note in your description of volunteering opportunities if you worked with the elderly, children, people with low-literacy, immigrants, people with disabilities, etc., if you were in high-stress, even hostile, situations and how you handled such, if you ever supervised or supported other volunteers, etc. This is much more interesting to a reviewer than "I did 100 community service hours at the library."

You should keep some sort of record so that you can refer to it when you complete your college applications. You could keep a record of the work you do and the time spent on it, and then have a supervisor sign it. It doesn't need to be an official-looking document, just an accurate account.

nicely replaced into it an area provider club? if so, you in all danger did community provider hours by using that. Spanish club or the like, do no longer count quantity as community provider. in simple terms think of, did I serve the community in the club, then count quantity those hours
