Who actually create the idea of trinity?

"Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord." (Deuteronomy 6:4)

"...The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; the Lord our God is one Lord." (Mark 12:29)

"And your God is One God: There is no God but He, ..." (The Qur'an 2:163)

Who write this?
"...we worship one God in Trinity, and Trinity in Unity... for there is one Person of the Father, another of the Son, another of the Holy Ghost is all one... they are not three gods, but one God... the whole three persons are co-eternal and co-equal... he therefore that will be save must thus think of the Trinity..."
(excerpts from the Athanasian Creed)

In the Gospel According to Matthew, 26:39 (King James Version) we are told that Jesus "fell on his face, and prayed" to God. And in the Gospel According to John, 17:3, Jesus declares that the one he prayed to is the only true God.

Muslims believe in one, unique, incomparable God, Who has no son nor partner, and that none has the right to be worshipped but Him alone. He is the true God, and every other deity is false. He has the most magnificent names and sublime perfect attributes. No one shares His divinity, nor His attributes. In the Quran, God describes Himself:

Say, “He is God, the One. God, to Whom the creatures turn for their needs. He begets not, nor was He begotten, and there is none like Him.” (Quran, 112:1-4)

No one has the right to be invoked, supplicated, prayed to, or shown any act of worship, but God alone.

God alone is the Almighty, the Creator, the Sovereign, and the Sustainer of everything in the whole universe. He manages all affairs. He stands in need of none of His creatures, and all His creatures depend on Him for all that they need. He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing, and the All-Knowing. In a perfect manner, His knowledge encompasses all things, the open and the secret, and the public and the private. He knows what has happened, what will happen, and how it will happen. No affair occurs in the whole world except by His will. Whatever He wills is, and whatever He does not will is not and will never be. His will is above the will of all the creatures. He has power over all things, and He is able to do everything. He is the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and the Most Beneficent. In one of the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad , we are told that God is more merciful to His creatures than a mother to her child.God is far removed from injustice and tyranny. He is All-Wise in all of His actions and decrees. If someone wants something from God, he or she can ask God directly without asking anyone else to intercede with God for him or her.

God is not Jesus, and Jesus is not God. Even Jesus himself rejected this. God has said in the Quran:

Indeed, they have disbelieved who have said, “God is the Messiah (Jesus), son of Mary.” The Messiah said, “Children of Israel, worship God, my Lord and your Lord. Whoever associates partners in worship with God, then God has forbidden Paradise for him, and his home is the Fire (Hell). For the wrongdoers, there will be no helpers.” (Quran, 5:72)

God is not a trinity. God has said in the Quran:

Indeed, they disbelieve who say, “God is the third of three (in a trinity),” when there is no god but one God. If they desist not from what they say, truly, a painful punishment will befall the disbelievers among them. Would they not rather repent to God and ask His forgiveness? For God is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. The Messiah (Jesus), son of Mary, was no more than a messenger... (Quran, 5:73-75)

Islam rejects that God rested on the seventh day of the creation, that He wrestled with one of His angels, that He is an envious plotter against mankind, or that He is incarnate in any human being. Islam also rejects the attribution of any human form to God. All of these are considered blasphemous. God is the Exalted. He is far removed from every imperfection. He never becomes weary. He does not become drowsy nor does he sleep.

The Arabic word Allah means God (the one and only true God who created the whole universe). This word Allah is a name for God, which is used by Arabic speakers, both Arab Muslims and Arab Christians. This word cannot be used to designate anything other than the one true God. The Arabic word Allah occurs in the Quran about 2700 times. In Aramaic, a language related closely to Arabic and the language that Jesus habitually spoke, God is also referred to as Allah.

Hope this helps regarding the concept of God in Islam

Islam and Judaism believe in one God, so do Christians. Christians started out as Jews who believed Jesus was Gods son. Jesus taught that He and the Father are one, but also he claimed His spirit would come after he left earth. Meaning Jesus believed and taught that there is one God but that God is three persons in one form. It's the doctrine of the Holy Trinity. Some Jews believed in the Holy Spirit and some do not. Islam teaches that God has no son. But they claim Jesus was a prophet and great teacher. All three come from the same people. It all traces back to Abraham and his two sons. Ismael and Isaac. Islam came from Ishmael and Judaism continued on from Isaac. Later Christianity was founded by Jews that were followers and disciples of Jesus. Islam is father away from Judaism. Christianity and Judaism are closer in what they believe.

Christians have one God. There is a Trinity of three. The Father, The Son And The Holy Spirit.

God the creator, only Moses looked upon His face. God knew He had to send someone down to earth, so He became Jesus as the Son who walked the earth and showed all how to believe and how to worship, & forgive.

Jesus shared the same feelings we as humans feel. God could not do that. When Jesus acsencded to Heaven, He told His Disciples that when He left this world He would send back His Comforter, known as The Holy Spirit. That which is very real.

Father, Son, Holy Spirit are one God, Lord, Jesus.

The trinity is not the idea that there are three God. Rather, it's the idea that there are three persons who are all the same God. There's only one God in the Trinity.

The trinity was recognized by various people in the early church because it was the only way to reconcile various aspects of the Christian scriptures. Here's how the trinity was deduced:

1. There is one and only one God.
2. The Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God.

It follows from these two points that...

3. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are the same God.

But...

4. The Father is not the Son, the Son is not the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit is not the Father.

It follows from 3 and 4 that...

5. The one God is a tri-personal being. In other words, three persons share the same divine nature.

This is totally not right someone said that the three father son and Holy Spirit , are God and there is no 3 God but one, but how can they say that when the three of them represent an individual each one has their part and it's clear the Christian religion never sited clearly that they are one, even in the ancient book of elinjil aissa (peace be upon him) I mean Jesus worshiped one and only true God, so this trinity makes no sense it defies the logic and blind us the religion is supposed to give us something to beleive in to have faith in, and Islam is the right religion because it never defies logic always encouraging scientific development and help to preserve peace and even if you asked me "then why are most Arabian countries that have Islam as a religion undeveloped?' I can only say pleas blame us as Muslims our religion is dear and it has got nothing to do with hypocrites because what you really see from them not the truth of Islam most of us disobeid God but there are out there real Muslims and if someone where to beleive in this religion they must start with the Quran and just look around you at a flower blooming at the sunrise at the birth of a baby at the human's capability just use logic observe and think will this even be possibly done by a human? Saying that Jesus is God and offering divinity to someone other then Allah is even in itself a lie because it's clearly not the truth and only a blind man that dosen't see or hear can say that but we see right?we think? We hear ? So we must use wht God gave us to beleive in him and worship him wa aSalam alikoum wa rahmato Allah w barakatouh

No, I don't think Islam is the antichrist and although I agree with what Eric H said, that's not the point I want to mention. as a Christian, I don't believe that anyone knows when the end will be except God himself. We are supposed to always be prepared, so what would be the benefit of us knowing? for example: if we all knew that the Christs return would be in 2015.. then we could just do whatever we wanted to until about halfway through 2014, then we'd all get serious in our faith and prep for his coming Yea, it doesn't make much sense to me.

You gotta go deeper into the "hidden teachings of Jesus", there area many of these teachings, what they call "gnostic" teachings, like some of the verses in the gospel of St. Thomas.

It is believed that the church created a source of christianity information system in which only basic teachings are held, when the advanced ones are called "gnostic" or "false", the advanced teachings are similar to the teachings of Buddhism and Hinduism, they talk about other dimensions, so the trinity might refer to multiple dimensions in the universe.

In fact the "oneness" is a strong concept and hard to understand, in a sense, we all came from one source, but we have some degree of independence, everything in the universe is a unity as well.

Or it could be that God wanted equal adoration between Jesus, the holy spirit and God himself.

I'm agnostic but as having once been a philosophy student Descartes said created the logical mathematical truths of the world. He could have very well created a world where one and one not maketh two or a mountain without a valley. As the prominent philospher Harry G. Frankfurt tells us that an ominpotent God is not bound by logic and therefore it be possible for God to create a stone too heavy for Himself to lift (logical contradiction). When we say that God can't make one plus one plus one can't be one (the Holy Trinity - three persons but one God), we're saying that God is not omnipotent and that God's power stops with logic.

Christianity, very complicated and confusing religion. They have holy book but follow some of the teaching. In bible stated God is one they claim three, bible says can’t eat pork… ‘no we can’, etc. God has no power to rule and pope over rules God.
