Even the JW's New World Translation contains this warning, do you agree?

"However, even if we or an angel out of heaven were to declare to you as good news something beyond what we have declared to you as good news, let him be accursed. As we have said above, I also now say again, Whoever it is that is declaring to you as good news something beyond what you accepted, let him be accursed"

Jesus Christ would return in 1914 and set up a visible organization with headquarters in Brooklyn, New York????

Or could this be that the Watchtower's "GOOD NEWS" is "something beyond what the Galatians accepted" - placing Jehovah's Witnesses under God's curse for teaching another gospel??

Or is that normal in Islam? After all the Taliban encouraged marrying off girls as young as 8,so perhaps child molestation is the norm in Islam.

I spent my freshman year at a small regional Catholic University and enjoyed myself for the most part, but since it didn't have any name recognition I transferred to a well known national private research university for my sophomore year (which I am currently hating). I have no friends here and absolutely no sign of a social life. Thing is this school has a great name which is the most important thing to me. I would only consider transferring again if I was admitted to a school with an equal or better name. If that happens should I transfer again? I'm thinking a school in the northeast, where I'm from. Is this advisible? I mean I seriously don't have one friend here or even someone to consistently talk to even though I've made the effort. So should I transfer college for second time? Thanks in advance.

p.s.- would it matter to a chool i was trying to get into that i had already attended two other colleges?

Some have stated sending a child to Sunday School is child abuse

Do you know what child abuse is, I have degree in child abuse and what some of you have been saying is not abuse?

There are different forms of child abuse. These include neglect, sexual, physical and emotional abuse. If you are talking about emotional abuse you have it wrong. This can include a range of behaviours such as excessive criticism, withholding affection, exposure to domestic violence, intimidation or threatening behaviour

Reading that how can you say that sending them to Sunday School or Church is child abuse?

For me, I lose hope when I see my fellow people hopelessly entwined and entangled in the deceit and delusion of religion. I lose hope when I see these same people willfully infect their vulnerable children with the same sickness from which they suffer. And I lose hope when I see the violence, hatred and bigotry perpetrated in the name of something which is falsely labeled ‘peaceful’. Why do they still insist that I could have my hope restored if I became one of them?

I am not christian however i am not going to soils its name either i was thinking for a while and i personally believe if there was a god and he is not showing himself to us for whatever reason therefore he must wish for us to seek him. while many of the people just simply say "hey hes real" while some christian actively seek him and want to know the truth not to just stand idoly by and just accept whatever was told to you. which way do you think is the real way of christianity?

For example, atheism increased dramatically during the 20th century, and consequently, we have beomce more advanced and civilized in 100 years. Now, I'm not necessarily implying that the two are connected, but just look at other societies. You will notice a trend when you look at how much religion has declined in the modern world, especially within recent years.

Every year, it seems like showing your devotion to religion in public has become less and less accpetable, and some are being labeld as "religious freaks." Also, more atheistic books have been published, such as 'The God Delusion', 'Atheist Universe', and 'Letter to a Christian Nation.'

Is atheism the way of the future? It certainly seems that way.
