No I don't think its right for people to try to convince someone to convert, because usually they do it they try it by force. One way or another

This falls under freedom of speech. We can't pass a law forbidding it. But if certain lines are crossed, then You can take action. Like, harassment or stalking.
However i think it the most natural thing in the world for any person to assume he knows the Truth. Sharing it is heroic. Denying it is stupid. We are all that way, to some degree.
Just don't be rude about it.

I'll put it in the form of a parable.
Two persons are walking along a path in a woods; they don't know one another, but are walking near enough to see one another. There is a fork in the path. One person had been informed that one way leads through a mortally dangerous forest, and he sees the other person start to head down that dangerous way. Would it be right for him to warn that other person of the danger?

It's insulting the other's intelligence to attempt to convert them.

If I had a cure for cancer, and you had cancer, would you want me to share it with you? If I believe Jesus can change your life like nothing else could ever do, I can't but share it with you out of a caring heart. John 3;16

I think communication is a great gift/ability. The exchange of ideas, when done with respect, is truly a great aspect of being human.

I really don't appreciate it much. Right and wrong is something that I would not try to ascertain for another.

No and I wish they would stop knocking on my door. I know where the church is and if I wanted to go I'd already be there!

I think you should be asked first. Don't make the first move.
