It's full of reports about people who have died and seen hell before being revived. People from all kinds of different backgrounds and religions are saying they saw Jesus Christ as judge in the afterlife.

I for one believe it.

There's another link with additional reports: www.insightsofgod.com.

in general?
See, the question i can't stand are:

what's up? especially by people i don't hang with and they are co-workers and all i can say is "hey" back" or a dull "nothing" or "same as usual".

I'm just wondering why they ask and they know they have no idea why they ask, and if I do have an answer they either didn't want to know or wish they never asked.

Part 1, Section 1, Chapter 3, Article 1, SubSection 3, Heading 5

161 Believing in Jesus Christ and in the One who sent him for our salvation is necessary for obtaining that salvation. 42 "Since "without faith it is impossible to please [God]" and to attain to the fellowship of his sons, therefore without faith no one has ever attained justification, nor will anyone obtain eternal life 'But he who endures to the end.'"]

Part 1, Section 1, Chapter 3, Article 2, SubSection 3

183 Faith is necessary for salvation. The Lord himself affirms: "He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned" (Mk 16:16).

Part 1, Section 2, Chapter 2, Article 4, Paragraph 2, SubSection 3, Heading 8

617 The Council of Trent emphasizes the unique character of Christ's sacrifice as "the source of eternal salvation" 449 and teaches that "his most holy Passion on the wood of the cross merited justification for us."

Then why were gods laws writen to a specific time period?

god, in the ultimate definition of what a god should be, alpha and omega, beginning and end, he transends all time, as he created this universe. So, he knows what has happened, and what will happen. Why were laws written that only related to a specific time period that he would later have to invalidate and contradict. As an all knowing super being, it would be logical to have laws based upon timless qualities, such as love, forgivness, dont kill, those laws are timeless, and yes, they do exist, but others are specific to the time when the bible was written. Christians say all the time that this or that law is no longer valid because of this or that reason. As an all powerful god that transends time, this is not a logical argument. All laws that god created should be for all time, because he would know the hearts of man 1000 years from now even, whats the purpose of a book, you have to change every 500 years

Many times, I will attend a church. As I get to know the congregation, I keep seeing something that is not "Christian". Some people are new to the church. After attending a few times, they are immediately accepted into the fold, making a lot of friends. While others have been attending for years, and are still outsiders. The scriptures say to be impartial and to love everyone in the body of Christ. I do not see that happening at all. Should I talk to the pastor? Or, keep trying other churches? Please help.

I've chosen the Roman Catholic religion to express my faith. Some others have chosen to be Baptists, or Muslims, or Taoists. Others have chosen to shun organized religion altogether, and that's fine if it's what works for them.

I am studying n bible with one of my Christians friend.
I have been explained about Jesus’s scarify for salvation of human generations.

As I have been told, Jesus is the son of God or his firstborn. He was in heavens with God before coming to earth.

Jesus came to Earth and suffered. He gave away his life to save human beings.

He went back to Heavens and is with God.

So I understand, he was God (or Godlike), was in heavens, came to Earth, scarified, and went back to Heavens.
The life in heavens is, as we all know, is definitely better than life on Earth.
Christians say that Jesus scarified his life.

I feel one makes a scarify when he gives away a better thing for something less.

Jesus gave away his life and got a better thing in return, that is, life in heavens. So how it can be a scarify????

If this was not a scarify, then what is the basis of Salvation concept?

I would like answers from Christians based on Logic, not belief only.
Muslims may also comment

my wife is taking me to a costume party, She wants me sexy, feminine, and to really stand out (theat seems redundant!) She is trying to decide which i should be, a french maid or a slave girl. Which should it be? We really want to go all out so any suggestions to really do it up would be great!!!!! The maid seems easy enough to do, lots of costumes (although any twists to make this more unique would be great), but not sure how we do the slave girl. Any and all suggestions are appreciated. Pllzzzz help!!

Hugh O'Brian.
I was having a very diturbing dream last night. It seemed that I was trying to organize some sort of get together. I was getting really frustrated. Just before I woke up, Hugh O'Brian walked over to me and planted the most gentle kiss right on the mouth. I cannot for the life of me explain this.

I was just speaking with my friend, who defines himself as a "true atheist", because "not only don’t I believe in a 'god' or Supreme Being, but I don’t believe in souls, miracles, interconnectivity of any species, or any of that BS".....

Now, I'm sorry. I know a lot of "spiritual" people who say they are atheists... Is there such a thing as "true atheism" or is my friend just talking out his butt?

Muslims hate Jews and Christians. Israel has 1000 nuclear warheads. Muslim countries are fast aquiring nuclear weaponry. Islamic terroists are unafraid to use them and believe they will die and go to paradise. America has a large Christian Taliban and religion is strong there, the President a born again Christian who claims to hear voices from God. People who believe in rapture look forward to the end of the world.

Will these lunatic Christians, Jews and Muslims understand that we are humans and have evolved and we just don't need this superstitious religious BS no more.

We only have one planet lets not ruin it

Prominent creation scientist Em Adjineri has recently been studying Coke cans and has discovered that they conclusively disprove evolution. Coke cans are aluminum cans that contain coca-cola. They were quite obviously designed by humans.

According to the Em Adjineri theory, since a coke can was designed by humans, all other things must have been designed too. For example, the Earth is just like a coke can in that both contain aluminum. Therefore, the Earth must have been designed too.

Em Adjineri (and I) ignore that this is an unfair generalization and a complete misuse of the inductive hypothesis. The reason we ignore those points is because they disprove creationism and a good creationist ignores anything that disproves creationism.

Take that, evolutionologists! Since coke cans were designed, everything must have been designed!

It's bullet-proof logic! (As long as nobody shoots bullets at it.)

One protestant fundamentalist a few weeks ago commented to someone that he was proud of the MANY thumbs downs he got, since that showed that he was speaking the truth to heathens here on R & S and they hated the truth. Yesterday another protestant fundamentalist "proved" to us that he was in the right because his answer had more thumbs up from the good Christians here on R & S.

Do you find it interesting that with some people here on R & S, no matter what feedback they get, they interpret things in the way that support their ideas, regardless of the facts? Is this perhaps the sign of a closed mind and a closed heart?

Ok I won't pretend to be an expert on Christianity, but it seems like Judas and Satan for that matter are both men of God. I'm quite certain there is a biblical verse where Jesus all but says"Judas, you will betray me." So wasn't Judas basically doing as he was told? And as for Satan, if he were seriously trying to pull people away from God, he would give barbecues and parties and all sorts of stuff down in hell. The fact that he "tortures" you in hel;l for all eternity just seems to me that he is acting on God's orders. That he is God's man through and through. I mean is Judas really as evil as people make him out to be? I mean the way i read, he was instructed to betray Jesus, from jesus himself. And if you believe in the whole trinity thing, then he would be following a direct order from God Obviously this would bring up many more questions and many more doubts for me as to the validity of the bible. Please somebody clarify these things for me? I'd really appreciate it.

he can make drinking really cheap- just order water and he can turn it into alcohol (this only works at bars at clubs they charge for water because of the x heads).

he is the ultimate revolutionary that is not afraid to speak his mind and takes no crap. He knew what he was saying would get him killed but said it anyway.

he could send the dude that the hot girl is talking to to hell so you could move in on her, no mess.

he could walk on water to impress the girls.

dude he is jesus. girls would be throwing themselves at him no matter how corny he talked to them!

of course he would have to shave his beard into a goatee and get a modern haircut- the only problem would be finding a non-gay hairstylist to help him as he would just end up in bed with the hot girl hairstylist because he is jesus.
