I don't know what you mean by "scarify." I'm sorry. Could you please rephrase or clarify?

Jesus was in Heaven before He came to the earth. He did not get to go to heaven as a reward for dying on the cross. The sacrifice that he made were:
a) Giving up the ease of existence, as a part of the Godhead(or the trinity)
b) Bearing the punishment even though He himself had committed not sin and could have proved so at will
With regard to the questions that someone else had raised in this thread as to whether a hypothetical soldier, who goes to Iraq and is killed and raised to life again and returned to his comfortable life, has made any sacrifice. The answer would be :
Yes, he would have made a sacrifice, if he died in the place of another soldier and he didn't have to go to Iraq except when out of his own will he volunteered to take the place of that other soldier. Then, he would have sacrificed his time & effort.

You can't base spiritual answers on logic. Spiritual things go beyond the natural realm and logic cannot it is stuck in the natural.
Now the fact that Jesus came and gave up his life on earth for a life in Heaven isn't his sacrifice. His sacrifice was the fact that he came to earth and suffered for our sins. He spilt his blood to wash away our sins. See all throughout the Bible the forgiveness of sin came through the shedding of blood. It was the sacrifice of lambs in the Old Testament and then the sacrificing of the spot-less lamb Jesus in the New Testament that brought forgiveness of sins. Jesus made a sacrifice. His sacrifice was coming to Earth and being tortured and killed for our sins.

Jesus gave up his life for us He took the punishment for us.
By Jesus being the ultimate and perfect sacrifice without blame or blemish He fulfilled the requirment.
By Jesus's death on the cross He won the victory over the law of sin and death, and bridged the gap between man and God.
Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life no man cometh unto the father but by me. John 14:6
Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it but whoever loses his life will gain it.
Jesus is God
Isaiah 9:6
For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Matthew 1:23
23"The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel which means, "God with us."
John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:14
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
Phillipians 2:5-6
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God

Before He came to this earth, He was "in the form of God." He humbled Himself and took the form of a servant. Phil.2:5. The form of God He relinquished forever! Is that not a sacrifice, even an infinite one? Once He became a man, after the human race had degenerated for 4,000 years, He humbled Himself as a man even to the death upon a cross! Is that not an infinite sacrifice? He subjected Himself to the great law of heredity and He lived upon this earth as a man in subjection to God. He never used His own divinity. He relied upon God and upon God only to overcome the very same temptations that we find so difficult to withstand. He is our example. Hebrews 2:17; 4:15.

I think you mean SACRIFICED, not "scarify," a word that doesn't exist.
Jesus didn't gain ANYTHING by sacrificing His life on the cross, dear one. He did go back to heaven, but He was there BEFORE He was born a human baby. He has always existed.
The purpose of Christ's suffering a HORRIBLE death on the cross, was to pay for man's sins. He died to pay a debt He didn't owe because we owed a debt we couldn't pay.
God bless!

Do you mean "sanctify" or "sacrifice"?
Jesus gave His life as a sacrifice so that our sinful lives would be sanctified and cleansed of all wrongdoing. He was only here to point the way to God, give His life so that we may live through Him, and after His mission on earth was done, He went back to God.

I'm a Roman Catholic Christian. I'm familiar with your question since I was young. It was explained to us that the term "JESUS SACRIFIED HIS LIFE FOR US" means He gave up His life just to save the human being. If you're done with The Old Testament (hope you understand the whole thing), you should have noticed some people do not believe in God, instead they praised Ba'al (a golden cow-like sculpture). Some of the people during that period doesn't obey the 10 Commandments that God had given to Moses at Mt. Sinai. God become so angry and He sent His only son Jesus. This is now the beginning of The New Testament. God commanded his Angel Gabriel to look for the woman who has the purest heart and he found Mary, the daughter of Anna. Mary was already engaged to Joseph that time. Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary and he told her about the son of God that she will carry in her womb. Mary willfully accepted Jesus in God's name. When Joseph found out that Mary is pregnant, he secretly planned to abandon her but Angel Gabriel appeared in his dream and told him that what happened to Mary is by God's will. Joseph lived with Mary and Jesus as family. If you have read The New Testament you should know about these and what happened to Jesus as he grew up. When Jesus started preaching, He became so famous especially when He told the people that He is the son of God. Some people did not believe in Him especially the Romans. Jesus continued to preach to enable the people to convert and return to God. Some people were not convinced and some get mad at Him. These new spread out so easily and captured the attention of the Roman Officials. The Roman leader commanded the centurions (Roman Soldiers) to capture Jesus. The people want him to be crucified to death. And there He was crucified together with the two theft along His sides. I did not mention anymore about His sufferrings before he was crucified. Before his last breath he shouted "Eloi! Eloi! Lama Sabachthani?!" which means "'My God! my God! why have you forsaken me?!". Jesus actually want to save the people from the being wick. He want them to follow God, his loving father. But, what happened to God's only son which he sent to the earth to save the world? His son was crucified and died on the cross. So what do you think? Isn't Jesus' life not good enough in exchange to the lives of those of the wicked? Isn't it a sacrifice? And the term "The return of Jesus" means He would come back to make the final judgement. To separate the good and bad. All those worthy to live in God's kingdom will go with Him and sorry for those who are not. Whan is that? We don't actually know. It doesn't have a definite time. I hope by that time you understand enough what you're asking for or maybe you must have a personal pastor to explain it to you. I'm sorry to tell you these. I'm not angry, but asking question like that makes me feel uncomfortable especially that I am a devout Catholic Christian.

What Jesus sacrificed was being God. He came to earth as a human does, through birth. He had no extraordinary knowledge but He began by remaining behind his parents that one time. He felt the same things we did and was tempted as we are. He felt fear. He asked that the road before him be changed, but when it was not he accepted it with humility and followed it through.
Could you or I do that? We will be called to do that at some point in our lives. We need to look to Him the ultimate sacrifice as to how we are to comport ourselves.

Well a Sacrifice, is
sac·ri·fice (skr-fs) KEY
NOUN:
The act of offering something to a deity in propitiation or homage, especially the ritual slaughter of an animal or a person.
A victim offered in this way.
Forfeiture of something highly valued for the sake of one considered to have a greater value or claim.
Something so forfeited.
Relinquishment of something at less than its presumed value.
Something so relinquished.
A loss so sustained.
Baseball A sacrifice hit or sacrifice fly.
VERB:
sac·ri·ficed , sac·ri·fic·ing , sac·ri·fic·es
VERB:
tr.
To offer as a sacrifice to a deity.
To forfeit (one thing) for another thing considered to be of greater value.
To sell or give away at a loss.
As you can see, its just giving up something that is personally valuable to you, NOT to gain anything in return or either lesser or greater value, because that would be and exchange,
Hope this helps you.

The Holy Quran. Surah 5(The Repast) verse 17. In blasphemy indeed Are those that say That Allah is Christ The son of Mary. Say:"Who then Hath the least power Against Allah, if His Will Were to destroy Christ The son of Mary, his mother, And all- everyone That is on earth? For to Allah belongeth The dominion of the heavens And the earth, and all That is between. He createth What He pleaseth. For Allah Hath power over all things."
The Holy Quran Surah 5. (The Repast) verse 72 thru 73.
72.They do blaspheme who say: "Allah is Christ the son Of Mary." But said Christ: "O Children of Isreal! Worship Allah, my Lord And your Lord. "Whoever Joins other gods with Allah- Allah will forbid him The Garden, and the Fire Will be his abode. There will For the wrongdoers Be no one to help.
73. They do blaspheme who say: Allah is one of three In a Trinity: for there is No god except One God. If they desist not From their word(of blasphemy), Verily a grievous penalty Will befall the blasphemers Among them.
Us Muslims aren't suppose to worship other Muslims.
The Holy Messenger Jesus is a Muslim. Most Christians are worshipping a Muslim and they don't even realize this.
